Tally was led out of the trailer and he was tied outside the trailer on the surrounding the gravel car park. He wasn't tied on the gravel side of the fence but on the cobble side by the grass away from the cars and trucks. Lots of horses and their owners turned to look at Tally and his current owner James.
Tally knew the idea of things now: the horse is groomed throughly all over and made them look the best they can like at a competition. After being cared for, there is a mini show, where the horses will perform simple movements such as all the gaits apart from gallop and a course of small jumps. Once the horses had been untacked and groomed quickly, they would line up with their current owners where buyers would bid on them. Then the horses would be taken home and collected by the new owner the next day.
The only thing Tally looked forward to whilst being sold was being groomed and washed in warm water, where he could enjoy his surroundings, and breath in fresh, clean air.
