🎶Zara's P.O.V🎶

I hope Tally actually makes some progress today. I can understand why James sold him - he's lazy and slow. Plus he does all the wrong moves to the the correct commands. I have no idea what James taught him.

I hope James comes to help me with his soft, gentle hands and his powerful wise mind. His cute, brown eyes sparkle in the light and when he is with Tally, they have a magical unexplainable bond.

My phone rings. It's on vibrate.
"Hello?"
"Zara, Ellington Hall is too full for you and your horse."
"So what are you expecting me to do about this, Jerry?" I empathise his name.
"I have already spoken with Andrew and Becca. They say you can have a permanent board for Tally there at Harrington. It's better there for you both there. Think about the better facilities and the professional trainers!"
"I am a professional, Jerry." I emphasise his name yet again. "I will stay here - Tally doesn't like traveling that much. Thanks, Jerry." Even more emphasis on his name. I hang up.

"Zara! Tally's tacked up for you ready!" Red, the stablehand shouts across the clean, extremely pretty yard.

"What happened to his side?" Red questions me like I'm a criminal as I approach him and Tally. "It looks like someone has used spurs on him." Red glares at me.
"H- What? No I would never!"
He rolls his eyes as he hands over the reins.

Trot. Extended trot. Sitting trot. Canter. Extend strides. Good. Tally is getting better and better. First we conquer Dressage. Then we tackle Jumping then to top it off like a cherry on top, Cross Country.

With Tally's ears pricked forwards and our bond growing at a fast rate, I forget the time. The sun begins to set and we leave the arena. As a cool down Tally leads me, still on his back, down the long bridle path leading into the woods.  A small hack to end the day. A light gallop to finish. I dismount quickly and untack at the speed of light. I lead Tally into his stable and give him a quick brush. I turn and leave. As I close the stable door and lock the bolt I hear footsteps behind me. I turn and they are they staring into my eyes.
