(Phone call)

"Hun?"
"Yeah mom"
"When will you bring your boyfriend over to the house?its been long enough me and your father are- well I am excited to see this Jack guy you have been talking about"

" true ill talk to him about it I think it's time too .. How about tomorrow?"
" that's fine , exited to see you guys love ya "

"Love you too bye"

I hang up and sign knowing I'm gonna have to persuade Jack into doing this.

"Jackkk" I yell from the bed room hoping he can hear me from the living room over the cheering of the basketball game - Raptors and the Lakers- "yeah babe" he says pausing it as I jog down the stairs and into the living room.

I plop beside him , he puts his arm around me " so I was talking with my mom.. And she wants to meet you" I bite my lip as his eyes dart over my face as I can see worry appearing in his eyes.

He swallows " when?"

"Tomorrow?" I say showing a nervous grin he tenses his eyes widen " wha- why tomorrow , you didn't even discuss this with me" he says
"Yeah I am I'm doing it now , and it's time babe it's been 5 months and we've been serious I think I'm ready to bring you to my parents" I say holding his hand on his lap.

He bites his lip and nods understanding where I'm coming from. "Can I think about it?" He finally speaks with uneasiness in his voice. I never seen Jack so nervous but then I realize it is my parents he is meeting but my father is the worst - strict, uptight,forbidding, and a stern man-
"I know this is gonna be hard for you baby, but this is what's gonna make a great strong relationship and let me tell you they will love you just the same way I love you... Actually they can't my love is unconditional " I say he grins this makes him a little more comfortable and reinsured.

"I love you too baby, thanks " he says before peaking me on the lips. " ah can I go back to my game now ?" He says after I pull a way I roll my eyes at his obsession and get up " yeah what ever go ahead and enjoy your game" I say he laughs and smacks my butt making me giggle.

I go get ready for bed and tomorrow's dinner.

(Next day)

I wake up wrapped up in Jacks limbs , I turn to look at him - parted lips, half closed eyes, messy blonde hair,drooling- Jacks a terrible sleeper , I sadly have to wake him up I tap his cheek repeatedly "Jack " I whisper in his ear he groans "you have to wake up now " I say he groans again louder this time that I said he has to wake up.

"Whyyy! It's so early" he whines I pick up my phone to check the time; 10:26 am. " buddy it's 10:26 , wake up " I chuckle at his over exaggeration , I roll out of bed slipping on my slippers and robe. I walk over to Jacks side and tug on his arms "wAKEEE UPP " I yell at him as I strain at his heavy weighted body making him laugh. "Jack stop being difficult " I whine
"Okay okay" he says sitting up shirtless I walk away and downstairs satisfied.

I decide I make breakfast - Eggs ,bacon, and toast- shortly Jack comes down dressed in a bark blue dress shirt , denim jeans , and black supras.

I begin to stare with a smirk on my face as he stands in front of me, "woah, look at you " I say eying him " yeah, I thought maybe I should look dressy" he shrugs as he places his chain. "See you look great , and presentable if My daughter brought you home I would steal you for myself " I day chuckling " so yo would turn into a cougar for me " he shrugs " oh , nice to know , not something you like to hear everyday but okay" he says laughing.

I finish the breakfast and put it out for us to eat once I am finished I begin to get ready I run upstairs to the washroom and plug in my straighter ,straighten my hair ,do my make up in the washroom in the middle of my doings Jack comes to watch me but I shoo him off. I finish and put on my tan body-con dress with white pumps.

I carefully go down the stairs to see Jack waiting, "damn I swear you said we were going to your parents house not the club" he says I giggle " come on I know I look good but we need it get going " I say rushing him out , " okay okay" he says heading out the door and heading to the car.

(Skip drive)

"Babe ,what if they don't like me?" He says nervous "who doesn't like you, you are sweet, smart, talented, creative, and the guy I want to be with. If they can't except that , and can't except you then that's there problem I'm happy with you . " I say squeezing his hand as I look at him in the eyes .

He nods and pecks me on the lips one last time and knocks on the door surprisingly, shortly I hear my parents from behind the door " (Y/D/N) be good okay?" "Okay" my dad groans I giggle I haven't seen my parents in a while ever since I've become serious with Jack. The door finally opens to see my mom I quickly bring her into a hug, " I've missed you mom" I say pulling away to get a good look at her , " me too you look amazing , (Y/D/N) look at our baby!" She squeals I grin she lets go and looks at Jack he's standing there awkwardly. " mom this is Jack , Jack this is my mom ( Y/M/N) " I say Jack grins and puts out his hand but in stead my mom brings him into a huge hug like he's her son , I giggle and go and greet my dad.

" hey dad " I hug him he kisses the top of my head " how have you been? How is he treating you?" He's asks " he's great dad you'll love him and I'm fine" I say and I pull away we go inside and all take a seat -Jack sits beside me of course and my mother and father across from us-

Before we can even dig into dinner my dad starts Interrogating Jack. " so Jack what do you do for a living? " my dad says with a blank expression Jack looks at me I nod at him that it's fine. He swallows and sits straighter "well I used to make music with my best friend but I couldn't handle the music business no more so I am a music producer/ Manger" he shrugs; perfect a straight,truthful answer .

"That's good , impressive actually" my says promptly " yeah Jack loves the music and is very passionate about it " I say

"Jack may I ask a question?" My mother buts in, " yeah anything Mrs.(Y/L/N) " Jack says squeezing my Hand under the table.

"How did you guys meet?" My mom asks I feel Jack relax , "well.. " I start as I look at Jack smiling " I was at the grocery store when I saw (Y/N).."

Jack tells my parents our embarrassing story of how we met causing us all to laugh at the end after a while we started to have random, comfortable conversations. Jack seemed to relax and feel comfortable around my parents and my dad seems to be lot loosened up tonight.

"Wow, it's already 9:00 o'clock we should get going mom" I say getting up."already, I don't wanna go .. You didn't tell me your parents are so cool " Jack whines I laugh " funny Jack, I'll help clean up" I put away the dishes and clear the table , as I clean I watch my parents and Jack continue their conversation in the living room like old friends it just reminds me how close and strong me and jack are becoming.
