----Lily's POV----
I woke up to a bright flash. I opened my eyes to see Tony, Jaime and Mike standing above me with a... Camera?
"What the hell guys?!" I sat up.
"well aren't you guys a cute couple." Jaime said.
"What are you.." I looked down and saw Vic sleeping peacefully next to me. "Oh my God!" His ar still draped over my lap. I blushed and moved his arm, He immediately rolled the other way and curled into a ball. "Well, I'm hungry. Starbucks anyone?"
"Yea!" They chorused.
"I'll make the run. What do we want?"
"I'll go with you. I know drink orders." Mike said.
"Okay what food?" I asked.
After about five minutes of argueing and ten of changing Mike and I walked to starbucks. It was only a five minute walk from the boys place. We walked in and Mike ordered Tony, Jaime and his drink.
"What does Vic like?"
"Oh and a Double Mocha Expresso with extra chocolate."
"Make that two please." I chimed in
"Yes ma'am." The cashier replied.
"I'm going to run next door to get food for lunch. Will you be okay on your own?"
"Yeah, I'm fine, I'll order the food." I told him.
I ordered 3 plain bagels with cream cheese and 2 everything bagels, and some muffins. While i waited in line someone came up behind me and hugged me.
"Mike you scared the shit out of me!" I laughed
"Who the hell is Mike?" I heard him ask. My face dropped and I pulled away.
"Get away from me." I told Josh. Why was he still here? Is he stalking me or something?
"Listen." He grabbed my wrist and pulled me into the bathroom hallway.
"Get off!" I tried to pull free but he held tighter; "You're hurting me!"
"Shut up!" He scolded; "I'm sorry for before. You didn't give me a choice though! You're mine and I'm not letting you go!"
"I'm not your property!" He smacked me. He grabbed me by the throat and pushed me up against the wall. I could barely breathe.
"Yes you are. The sooner you realize that the easier it'll be." He pressed his lips to mine and I tried to pull away but couldn't.
"Is everything okay?" A woman asked. Josh got distracted trying to reassure the woman it was fine and I took the opportunity to run. I grabbed our order and ran out of the store. I saw Mike coming out of the store next door and handed him the drinks. We began the walk back to his house in silence. I felt vile and discgusting... How cold I let him do that? I'm dirty..
-----Vic's POV-----
I woke up alone and walked into the kitchen. Tony and Jaime were outside sitting by the pool. I walked out to sit with them. "Hey guys we're out of coffee."
"Ru and Mikey went out to make a starbucks run."
"Awesome!" I sat down next to the pool and dipped my feet in, shivering at the coldness of it.
"Hey Vic." That was Jaime; "Can I ask you something?"
"Sure man! Always."
"Do you like her?"
"What?!"
"Lily dude. Do you like her?"
I sat quietly for a minute thinking about the question I was just asked. Do I like her? I've only known her for 3 days now. She incredible though. Her eyes are so bright, when she smiles they sparkle and I cant help but to smile with her. She's beautiful. wait.. What did I just say? She's beautiful. She is. I do.. I like her.
"..Yes," I finally replied.
"I knew it!" They said in unison.
"Are you gonna do anything about it?" Tony asked.
"After she feels more comfortable. I just met her and she's new here. She's got enough pressure on her, she doesnt need me adding to it." The door opened and the guys got up.
"Well for what it's worth.. I think she likes you too." With that they walked inside and I followed. I was smiling like an idiot until I walked into the kitchen. She was pale and looked like she was about to cry.
"Everything okay?" I walked over and put my hand on her shoulder. She nodded and walked over to the counter to put the food down. We all looked at Mike but he just shrugged.
"I got drinks!" Mike handed out the drinks. "Vic, Ruby Double Mocha Expresso with extra chocolate."
"Awesome! Thanks." We got the same thing! Fucking awesome.
"Thank you." Lily whispered.
We all sat around the counter goofing off and laughing. Lily seemed distracted though. She got up and threw her cup out.
"Could I shower?" She asked.
"Yea go for it. Towels are in the bathroom closet."
"Thanks." She walked away and we sat in silence until we heard the water start.
"What happned." I asked Mike and we all faced him.
"I don't know. I went to pick up lunch shit and when I got back to her she was like... that."
"There... There were bruises." Tony said. My eyes widened.
"Well yea her ex threw her into a table." Jaime told him.
"NEW ONES!" He yelled causing us to jump. "Around her throat and wrist." He continued calmly. He looked like he wanted to cry. She's his first real friend besides us. He's talked about her non-stop this past week. I can tell they'll be close. I hope I can be close to her too. Wait Vic what are you saying. That's NOT the problem here.
"There's nothing we can do for now." We looked at Jaime. "Until she's ready to tell us we'll just have to wait and be supportive."
"Agreed" Mike said. Tony and I nodded in agreement with them.
The guys all went into the living room and turned on the xbox. I walked upstairs so I could go get some clean clothes for the next shower. I stopped infront of the bathroom and heard... Crying?
-----Lily's POV-----
I turned the water on as hot as I could as I scrubbed. I washed my face repeatedly and still felt gross. After ten minutes of brutal scrubbing and washing I decided to just stand under the water. Thinking about today along with my past with Josh caused me to lose it. I fell to the ground of the shower and cried. The tears just kept flowing no matter how hard I tried to stop thm. Whe I finally calmed down I shut the water off and got dressed. Whe I opened the door I saw Vic standing right there.
"Hey." He said. I nodded in response not trusting myself to speak. We stood there in silence, I couldn't look at him. He sighed."Come here." He opened his arms and I practically jumped into them. He embraced me in a hug and I'd never felt so safe. He walked me into his room and we sat on the bed. I tried to hold it back. No one except my mom has ever seen me cry, and that was years ago. I couldn't do it. I started bawling. He pulled me back as he leaned against the headboard. With my head on his chest and his arms wrapped around me I cried for what felt like hours.
