We lost everything ~*~ Isco One Shots

The moment Isco saw that ball go into the net he knew it was all over. He had lost everything. He knew the team was out of the Champions Leagues and fourth place in la liga was further and further. Isco tried to not cry on the field but he took off his gloves angrily and wanted to throw them on the field. He ran his hands through his newly shaven head and let his emotions go free. He didn’t cry at all even if he wanted to. He walked back to the locker room and was ready to go home.

The team got back to Malaga really late at night. They really didn’t expect anyone to be there but the airport was filled with people cheering them on. Isco smiled even if he was still heartbroken about losing the night before. He got in the bus and was ready to head home. He wasn’t looking forward to seeing his friends of family. He just wanted to be alone. Joaquin sat down next to Isco and tried to make him laugh but both of them were feelings the same way. They felt empty because of the lost. They have gone through so much this season together and this win would’ve proven to everyone that Malaga is a great club.

Isco’s house was silent when he arrived and he knew no one was going to mention the match. He had read the messages from his friends while they waited for their flight back to Malaga match but that wasn’t going to fill the emptiness inside of him. He wanted to win something with Malaga and the chances of that happened are now non existent as the season ends. He knew his days with the team might be coming to an end and that was out of his hands$. Isco walked back to his room and just laid on his bed to think. He wanted to stop thinking about the match and how angry he was with the loss. He didn’t want to think about the what ifs. What if I passed it to someone else? Would we have won?

Laura was at her house still angry about the match. She looked at her phone one more time and wondered if it was time to call Isco. Isco and her had been friends forever and she knew that he usually needed comfort after a loss but this wasn’t just a normal match, this was the Champions League match and they hadn’t lost one yet. Laura stopped thinking about it and decided to call Isco. She clicked on Isco’s name on her phone and the picture of them at the beach popped up.

It only took three rings for Isco to pick up the phone. He knew who it was without even looking at the screen. Laura was always there for him, especially in the bad moments. Laura was an amazing friend. He could never see her the way he saw Aitor, Alvaro, Cesar or Dani. Laura was something special, she was a keeper.

“Just don’t.” Was the first thing Isco said to Laura. He looked down at the brown bracelet she had giving him with the turquoise cross.

“But,” Laura said looking out her window. There was so many things she wanted to say.

“I said don’t want to talk, just come over.” Isco said and then hung up. Laura was surprised because this was a first. She has only been at the new Alarcon house once. She didn’t know what to do but decided to do what Isco had asked of her. She pulled out her lucky jacket from the dresser and headed out of her house. She walked down the street to the new Alarcon house. it’s been a year since the Alarcons became her neighbor and it was still weird. Even weirder because she’s only been there once before. Laura knocked on the door and waited for someone to open. To her surprise no one answered.

She knew everyone was home because the cars were in the driveway. She pulled out her phone and called Isco again. It took Isco longer to answer now. He was walking down the steps and heading into the backyard. He saw that Laura was calling again and quickly answered.
