Killer Ghost

The boys don't know what to do and Luke has now found out exactly who the murdered girl was can he keep his emotions in check, Jai is losing his temper but does he have an idea that could break the ice and set them free? James is seeing disappearing figures but is his mind just playing tricks.... 

Jai reached the house that he ran to about a mile out from the town and gave a knock on the door for a girl to answer, "Katie i need your help" Jai said barging past her in to the house "sure Jai just come in" she went to the living room where Jai was standing with the letter "Jai what's wrong" she asked him "if i tell you then swear you won't breathe a word to anyone not ever" Jai asked in a serious tone "no i swear i won't what's wrong Jai your scaring me" she said walking towards him he sat down on the chair that was situated behind him "you know that a girl was murdered last night" he asked "yeah i know i was at the party" Katie replied "well we found her body but we didn't call for help we drove away in the van" Jai explained to Katie and she took a seat "the van was used for her murder in some way James didn't lock it but we drove off in it and then cleaned it down" Katie looked at him her face dropped the more he carried on "the thing is Katie the person that murdered her they were there and they saw us drive away in the van and then in the morning left this letter" Jai handed Katie the letter and she began to read it. Katie looked up "Jai i can't get involved in this" she stood up and handed him the letter "please Katie your our best shot at finding this person you know me you know i wouldn't lie about this" Jai pleaded "Jai your best shot at finding this person isn't me it's the police tell them what happened tell them you were scared they will understand" she explained to him "no Katie you can't go in to a police station and tell them that you found a body but drove off in the van that was used in her murder and then wiped it clean because you were scared please help me"  Katie looked at Jai she seen he was terrified she knew that he was telling the truth. 

She snatched the letter from his hand and walked away with it "oh my god thank you" Jai said following her to her room. Katie sat at her desk and began testing the letter "what are you doing" Jai asked looking over her shoulder "you asked for my help now if you want it please sit down and let me do what i have to" Jai backed away and done what she said "how many of you actually touched the letter" Katie turned to ask Jai "just me and you" he answered "ok i need your fingerprint" she said going over to Jai and taking his thumb "press down" she directed and Jai pressed his thumb down on to the paper. Katie went back to her desk "there is three sets of prints on this paper so whoever sent it really wasn't that smart" she said "so how do we find them" Jai then asked "there is only one way you will ever find out who this was and that is the birth and death files" Jai looked at her "how am i meant to get those" he stood up and walked across the room. "Jai how long have you known me" Katie asked him "i dunno all my life" Katie rolled her eyes and opened up her laptop and began to press the keys, "you've known me your whole life and yet you forget that my dad is a cop" she said concentrating on the screen "wow" she said pulling back from her desk "what, what is it" Jai said running over and looking "no way that's impossible" he said in disbelief "Jack Melrose" Katie said confused "that can't be right are you sure" Jai said to Katie she turned and gave him a disapproving stare "i'm never wrong, this is never wrong , Jack Melrose sent this letter to you and the boys i'm positive" She turned to Jai who looked like he had just seen a ghost "but Jack Melrose died last year remember he took his own life after his breakup".
