Chase

Luke, Jai, Beau, Skip, Sarah and Katie spoke up about their torture to Katie's father and now he is trying to get help and find answers. The video that they received has left them hanging on the edge, is it too late for James and Shania?. 

Everyone was scattered all over Katie's room, Skip laying over a beanbag trying to read upside down on his phone "Katie your dad has been gone for hours" Sarah stood up and walked over to the window "he's probably looking through everything thoroughly" Katie responded reassuring everyone that her dad was a good cop "what if he doesn't find anything, what then" Beau asked her, Jai looked at Beau "if it wasn't for you and your stupid brain they would have something to work with" Jai was agitated and angry Katie walked over to him and put her hand on his shoulder "hey that doesn't matter now we've got help" Katie said tightening her  grip on his shoulder. Everyone was quiet all you could hear was the sound of them breathing. "Ok iv'e had enough of Skips mouth breathing" Beau said getting up "and where are you going" Luke asked him as Beau went to leave the room "to occupy my mind away from this crap" he said walking away. 

"guys we need to do something its no use sitting around here" Jai said getting up and looking at the others "what are we supposed to do" Katie asked him "we try and find James and Shania" he said looking at her "that's impossible" Sarah said sitting up "she's right we don't have much to go on " Luke backed her up. A phone began to bleep and everyone checked to see "it's mines" Skip said as the others gathered around him "it's another video" he said standing doing nothing "well press play then" Luke said impatiently, Skip pressed play on the video to see James bloody and beaten, hanging from a rope "guys if your watching this please don't come looking for us, just stay away" James was pleading and crying in pain at the same time "just stop looking" he added and then the camera switched over to Shania "don't try to find us it isn't worth it, just leave us please" She was also crying with a cut lip and a bloody nose, scratches and bruises over her neck and chest. The camera then tuned on to the faceless figure "don't look or they die" it spoke and then the video went dead. 

Everyone looked so scared "what do we do now" Katie asked the group "we get Beau and then we go to your dad" Jai said but Katie grabbed his arm "how do we know that's our safest option" she asked him "our safest option, Katie whoever that guy is he's going to kill our friends" Skip said to her "yeah if we keep trying to look for them" Luke added on "we need to keep a balance we need to keep ourselves safe and keep James and Shania alive" Sarah said. They all stood looking at each other wondering what to do, James and Shania are next on his kill list Laura is already gone. 

That night everyone was sound asleep but Skip was awakened by a noise, he sat up and listened and the movement came again. He got up and carefully moved around Luke and Sarah being sure not to wake them up and made his way quietly along the landing. He crept half way down the stairs when he saw a shadow, he froze in fear "hello" Skip whimpered still standing frozen to the spot "i can see your shadow" he said just then a light blinded him "what are you doing" a voice emerged "oh sorry i just thought" Skip relaxed realizing that it was just Katie's dad "have you heard anything yet" Skip asked him "yeah we have" Skip got a reply that he wanted "what have you got" Skip was eager to find out "dad are you home" looking up to the hall way Katie, Jai, Luke and Sarah were standing "come here and i will tell you all " her dad said inviting them.

They all sat in the the living room "we have found a location it's an old butchery just off of the lost track" everyone looked around at each other as Katie's dad gave them the news "so what do you do now" Skip asked "we wait and see if there is any reason to go in and check the place out" Katie's dad responded "wait our friends are being held hostage and you want to wait" Jai stood up in anger "wait guys where is Beau" everyone had panic on their face when Sara's question rang through their ears, where is Beau?
