Vanishing Act

The boys are petrified, this might not be Jack this might be a smart killer, the messages left for them and for Laura on her wall. James and Shania never went back to the house, what will they do now. 

"Call his phone" Jai said to Beau, Beau got his phone out and called James the three boys stood and waited for James to pick up "there's no answer it's going to voicemail" Beau said ending the call "that's not like James he always picks up the phone when we call" Skip said looking at Jai and Beau "what's going on" Luke said walking down the stairs rubbing his eyes "James and Shania never came back last night" Beau explained to him "did he not call or text" Luke asked "we just tried to call him but he didn't answer" Beau said to him. "This isn't good wait i will go and wake Sarah" Luke said turning and running back up the stairs "Luke" Sarah called out as Luke made way for his room "what is it " Luke said as he seen Sarah standing at the window looking down "come and look at this" she said pointing, Luke made his way over to the window and looked down "oh shit" he said running out of the room "GUYS GUYS" Luke yelled running down the stairs and to the back door. Luke opened it and looked on "what is this" Beau asked him looking over his shoulder Luke bent down and wiped his finger on the ground "it's red paint" he said turning to everyone and holding his finger out to them. 

"why the hell is the place covered in red paint" Skip asked barging past everyone and going outside to look around "James" he said "where" Beau asked him "no that's what is written on the wall" Skip said looking. Everyone pushed to get out of the door at the same time "holy shit" Jai said looking at the wall "what is that next to his name" Luke asked "it looks like a hang man" Sarah answered "you don't think that this means something" Luke asked Beau just looked at him he knew himself what it meant "it's another message it's not a warning" Jai said rubbing his forehead "well what are we meant to do" Luke asked him "what do you mean what are we meant to do" Skip raised his voice "well we can't just leave him we need to try and find him" Luke said turning to him "and how are we meant to do that he vanished in the middle of the day" Skip said to him "guys did anyone try Shania" Katie asked, the boys just looked at each other Katie rolled her eyes out "you lot try to clean this off of the wall " she said putting her phone to her ear and touching Sarah's arm to tell her to follow her. 

Shania did not answer her phone "Shania isn't answering" Katie said to Sarah "that means she has to be with James then" Sarah replied worried "we need to try and find them" Katie said sitting down on the chair "but where would we start we don't know where to start" Sarah sat beside Katie "it seems impossible but there has to be a way of finding them" Katie stood up and looked out of the window resting her hands on the ledge "what the" she said as something caught her eye. Katie ran to the door and opened it "Katie what is it what did you see" Sarah said running to the door looking out in the direction Katie was facing "there was someone at the corner of the street watching the house" she turned to Sarah "could you see who it was" Sarah asked her "no they were too far away but now we know that James wasn't crazy someone is following and watching us just like they done with Laura " Katie closed the door and locked it "why are you locking the door"  Sarah asked her "i'm not taking any chances now i have seen it with my own eyes" Katie said waking away. 

"How are you all getting on" Katie asked the boys trying to sound as normal as possible she shook her head at Sarah to tell her not to say a word about what just happened "yeah it's coming off slowly" Luke said wiping his forehead "it's all over my feet" Beau said showing them to the girls "this is a disaster" Jai said throwing down the scrubbing brush "Jai are you ok" Skip asked him stopping what he was doing "i think we should just go to the police and be done with this shit we can't do it alone". Everyone looked at him "what Katie's dad is a cop all we have to do is go and speak to him tell him the truth" Jai added "yeah and then what he goes and tells his friends at the station and we all get arrested" Luke said to him "well i would take that over being out here with a mental killer on the loose threatening us" Jai said angry "Jai are you sure that you want to do that" Katie asked him hoping thay he would take a long think about it "and what about James and Shania how are we supposed to help them if we're locked up" Sarah asked Jai "in case you forget that's their job they're supposed to find missing people and solve murders and catch the bad guys not us we can't do it" Jai had a point and he was making sense. James and Shania just vanished and none of them knew where to start looking for them.
