"Really." He said as opened that card. Connie nodded and a smile appeared on both of their faces.

After a long and hectic day, Connie was ready to go home. They had arrived to work separately as they started at different times meaning they had to leave separately too.

Connie agreed to take Grace with her in her car whilst Jacob followed behind them.

Jacob kissed Connie passionately before she entered her car. He also hugged Grace telling him not to annoy Connie whilst she was driving as Grace nowadays asked a lot of questions.

"See you at home." He said as he entered his own car and together, they drove off.

Connie's car went past before the signal changed to red but Jacob, he got stopped. He watched as Connie drove ahead and suddenly his whole life collapsed.

A car speeded past and lost direction, hitting Connie's car. Her car tumbled and turned until it came to a halt. As Jacob ran towards the car, it exploded as the petrol had leaked.

In a matter of seconds he list everything. He lost his family! He lostGrace. The girl who accepted him as her father! The girl who bought happiness to his face. He lost the baby. The baby her and Connie were going to have. She only told him this morning and now, the baby was gone. But most importantly, he lost the love of his life. He lost Connie...
