A Tale of Two Hearts

Chap 8

Adam's POV

"Look, I understand because I'm marrying you," I smiled. "But it's hard for a father. Look, no matter how old you get, you'll always be Daddy's little girl or princess."

"I swear, sometimes I think you're not from Sweden," Alexis smiled. She gave me a kiss on the cheek as she got done packing. "So, do you wanna be the one driving me to Quantico?"

"Sure," I smiled. As soon as I said that, the video got done uploading to YouTube. "It's up. We gotta make a video for my fans when we get to Quantico."

"And when we get to Quantico, that's when we can tell you're fans what we do," Alexis nodded. "Because I don't wanna be compromised until then."

"I understand," I smiled. "Come here." I took a picture with Alexis. "I'm going to post that and then we can hit the road."

"We have to hit the road now," Alexis sighed. We packed the car and I started the car. "Anytime now, Adam."

"We're going now," I smiled. We drove for hours and it was getting pretty late. We got to a hotel and Alexis paid for reservations. We went to our room. "This is a good hotel."

"And expensive," Alexis replied. She put her duffel back on the bed. "Look, do you wanna make your little twitcam today?"

"Yeah," I smiled opening my laptop. I pulled up and sighed in. I tweeted on twitter too. Alexis and I sat in front of the laptop. "Hi everybody. I see more people logging in."

"While we wait for people to log in, I need to go and change out of this dress," Alexis sighed.

"You can do that," I smiled. Alexis went into the bathroom and the numbers of viewers stopped. "Alright, is everyone logged on?" I read the comments. "Okay. Well, if people miss the twitcam, please let your friends know. I'm going to release a little update."

"Okay," Alexis sighed, plopping on the bed next to me in shorts and a t-shirt. "What's going on now?"

"Just about to tell the fans about what we're doing," I replied. "Okay, so, I posted a video a few hours ago. I'm not sure when, because we've been driving on the road all night."

"And you'll get to know why tomorrow," Alexis nodded. "We're just a few hours out."

"We'll upload a YouTube video on why tomorrow," I nodded. "Some of the video will need to be edited before we can upload it."

"Plus, we haven't even started filming," Alexis smiled.

"Yes, we did," I smiled. "I was holding my phone most of the time."

"So they'll watch a video of us on the road?" Alexis asked. I nodded. "Well, the end of the video won't be boring though so you guys can fast forward to that part. We'll put the time in the description if you don't wanna watch the road." I smiled. "Adam, are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm fine," I nodded. "Okay. This is what you need to tell your friends. Tweet it on twitter and instagram." Alexis was messing with her phone. "Okay, well, I'm no longer living in Sweden. I'm not returning to Sweden. I'm getting married." I looked at Alexis. "I'm engaged to the girl who isn't even listening right now."

"Huh?" Alexis asked as she looked at me. "Sorry, I'm reading an e-mail from Strauss but I'm listening to you." Alexis kissed my cheek. "But yeah, we're getting married. We're going to be engaged for a while so, don't worry."
