Alexis' POV
"I love you too," I replied. I walked into the kitchen and made a deli platter. I finished and waited for Adam. He walked in wearing jeans, a white t-shirt, and a gray jersey jacket. "Hey." I put the food on the coffee table. "You okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine," Adam nodded. "Is your family singing today?"
"We always do," I smiled. The doorbell rang. "That's them." I opened the door. "Dad!" I hugged in. I hugged Kelsey and Prescott. "You must be Marcus, Kelsey's fiancé."
"You must be the FBI older sister," Marcus nodded shaking my hand.
"Yeah," I nodded. I saw another girl. "You're Prescott's girlfriend?"
"My name's Amy," she smiled and shook my hand. "Nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too," I nodded. "Please come in and have a seat." They did and I close the door. "The food's for you and..." I scanned the living room and the kitchen. "Where did Adam go? Adam?!"
"Yeah?" his voice filled the room from the bedroom.
"Family's here," I sighed. "Just give me one second." I walked into the bedroom and Adam was searching through the closet. "What are you doing?"
"Look for the gift I got for your dad," Adam said grabbed a gift bag. "I remembered what today is. It's the day you guys celebrate of him being a single parent."
"I can't believe you remember that," I smiled. "Come on." Adam grabbed my hand and I pulled him out of the bedroom. "Dad, Adam has a gift for you." The home phone started ringing. I picked up. "Hello?"
"Alexis, we need your help," Garcia replied.
"Garcia, this isn't a secure line," I said looked at my family. I faked a smile. "You should've called my cell. How do we know if someone's tracing this or not?" I heard gunshots in the background. "Please tell me that's a video feed."
"A live video feed from the bullpen," Garcia's voice shook.
"Baby girl, we are getting creamed down here," Morgan's voice came through. "Garcia, did you get her on the line."
"I can hear you," I sighed. I grabbed my gun from the drawer and put the magazine in it. "I'll be there as soon as I can." I cocked my gun. I hung up and called from my cell. "I need to go and help my team."
"Did you hang up?" Garcia asked.
"I had to call you from my cell," I replied grabbing my car keys. "Garcia, I need you to be my eyes and ears, can you do that?"
"I can try," Garcia said.
"Try?!" I exclaimed. "Come on, Garcie. I need you to do a lot more than that." I looked at Adam. "You're our tech analyst. You can do this. I'm going to ask you..." I left home and got into my car and started driving. "Can you be my eyes and ears? Mostly my eyes?"
"Yes," Garcia whispered. "Yeah. I got this."
"Alright," I nodded. I parked the car and entered the building. "I just entered the building. Garcia." I put on my earpiece and put my phone in my pocket. "Talk to me."
"You're going to have to go through the break room and take him out from behind," Garcia stated. "Go, go, go, go, go Alexis."
"I'm on it," I stated. I quietly and quickly made my way. I saw the guy holding a gun at JJ. I looked at JJ and nodded. She quickly hit the ground. I heard two gunshots go off. One came from my gun and the other came from his gun. The guy hit the floor and I relaxed. "Bulls eye."
"Which gun went off first, Garcia?" Morgan asked.
"The guy," Garcia replied.
I smiled and lowered my hand. "Don't ever tell me to stay at home at a time like this," I smiled. "I just saved your ass. Now, I have to get home. My family is visiting. See you guys around." I smirked and went home. I walked through the front door and put the gun in the drawer without the clip in the gun. "Sorry about that. JJ could've died and I saved her."
