Parrish had called me for help, because there had been a monstrous-looking beast that had been at the communication towers the night before.

We looked at a security footage tape on an iPad.

"This is from the relay station's security camera," Parrish told me.

We watched the monstrous-looking Beast bolt across the screen, in shock.

"That looked big," I told him.

"And too fast for anyone to get a good look at it," Parrish told me. "But you already know what it is, don't you?"

I nodded. "The last Chimera." We walked inside, down into the basement to see a pool of blood where a dead body had been, and severed electrical wires that were sparking. I knelt next to the pool of blood, looking at Parrish. "You still got a black light?" Parrish took out his black light, handing it to me. I used it to shine over the blood, revealing gray spots underneath the blood. "Mercury means Chimera."

I stood, handing the black light to Parrish.

"What was it doing here?" Parrish asked. "Why come here and kill some random communications tech?"

"Maybe it just likes to kill," I told him. "Maybe that's what it does."

"That's terrifying," Parrish told me.

"Parrish, how many bodies do you actually see when you dream about the Nemeton?" I asked.

Parrish hesitated for a long moment. "Everyone."

I walked into Scott's room.

Scott was setting up a criminal board on his wall.

"Isn't that supposed to be Stiles' job?" I asked.

"He's still not talking to me," Scott told me.

I nodded.

Scott noticed that a red string was caught on his jacket, pulling on it, making a bunch of pictures fall from the board, closing his eyes, wincing.

"Leave that to Stiles," I told him.

Scott nodded in agreement. "I am leaving that to Stiles."

I chuckled barely in amusement, shaking my head, walking closer. "While you were at school, I was talking to Parrish about the last Chimera. He had video footage of the creature, but it was too fast for me to get a good look at it."

"So..." Scott trailed off.

"So, I'm gonna try and figure out what it is," I answered.

"I can help," Scott told me. I tilted my head. "What?"

"When did your wound reopen?" I asked.

Scott looked down, lifting his shirt to show that his wound from when Theo had technically killed him was open and bleeding slightly. He lowered his shirt, looking at me, sighing. "How did you know?"

"I could smell the blood," I answered. "And I know that you would blame yourself for everything that's happening. Enough for you to stop healing."

"You make it sound like you know everything," Scott told me.

I shook my head. "I know a lot of things, Scott. But I don't know everything."

I smiled a small smile, turning around, walking away.

I went out to Malia's house to talk to her, standing outside.
