Scott, Liam and I were still trapped in the hallway of Eichen, trying to get past the Mountain Ash.

Liam reached out to touch the barrier, making it glow blue and zap him, pulling back.

Scott and I were looking through the unconscious guards' belongings.

I pulled out a radio, speaking into it. "Does anyone have eyes on the closed unit? I need a status report."

"It's a war zone down here."

"Uh... 10-4. And what about the patients? Lydia Martin?"

"Who is this?"

"It's... unit nine."

"There is no unit nine. Who is this? How did you get this radio?"

I rolled my eyes in annoyance, crushing the radio in my hand, destroying it, letting it fall to the floor.

"All right, we need to figure out another way to get into this closed unit," Scott told us.

"How do we get through the Mountain Ash?" Liam asked.

"I don't know yet," Scott told us. "But there's somebody else here that might be able to help us."

"Who?" Liam asked.

"Meredith," Scott answered.

I nodded in agreement, remembering the Banshee that had used to be the Benefactor that only played along with Peter's psychotic outburst in the past.

Scott, Liam and I found Meredith's room, walking inside.

"Meredith?" Scott asked. Meredith was facing away from us, seeming to be in a trance. "Meredith, it's Scott. Scott McCall."

I slowly walked toward Meredith, turning her chair around so she could face us.

Meredith gazed off into nothing.

I sat next to Meredith on the bed. "Hey, Meredith. Can you hear me? Do you know who I am? I'm Tara Hale. And we need your help. We're trying to find Lydia. We're trying to get her out of here."

"Guys, I think we better go," Liam told us.

"Meredith, listen," Scott told her. "There has to be another way to get to Lydia. We can't get past the Mountain Ash. How do we find her?"

I stood. "Scott..."

Scott sighed, turning to leave.

Meredith barely managed to grab Scott's arm.

We looked at her in surprise.

Meredith guided Scott's hand to the back of her neck, meaning for him to access her mind.

"I could hurt you," Scott told her. Meredith kept his hand there, lowering it to her side. "Okay."

Scott hesitantly drew his claws, inserting them into Meredith's neck to go into her mind.

Meredith gasped, looking up.

Scott had his eyes closed.

Scott was still in Meredith's mind.
