Anyone wanna make a cover for this one?

Jason knocked on the door, leaning his head against the trident.

"Come in." A voice called.

Jason entered Cabin 3 and found Percy laying on his bed, capping and uncapping Riptide.

Jason closed the door and leaned against the wooden door frame.

"Hey Perce."

Percy looked up from Riptide, which was now a pen. "Hi, Jason. What's up?"

Jason sighed. "I want to propose to Piper soon, but I don't know how. Any advice?"

Percy sat up fast, and almost impaled himself on Riptide the sword. He capped it and smiled. "I'm gonna propose to Annabeth soon, too!"

Jason smiled. "We should do it on the same day."

Percy's eyes lit up. "Oh! I have a better idea! We should do a proposal contest!"

Jason looked at him. "There's a contest for that?"

"There's a contest for everything, Jason. We can get Leo to be the judge."

"Alone?" Jason asked. "Wouldn't that be an unfair advantage, since he's my best friend?"

Percy thought a moment. "Yeah, you're right. Um, we could get Leo and Grover to judge. And Frank and Hazel are coming over soon. We could get Frank for a tie-breaker."

Jason nodded. "Okay." He stepped forward and held his hand out. Percy shook it.

"You're on."

June 29, 3 weeks later

Piper stared at Jason across the tables. They were 23 now, and he still hadn't proposed. Piper was getting a little worried, but she sensed that it would be any day now. She sighed and continued eating.

About halfway through dinner, Jason went to the front and cleared his throat. He looked a little nervous, with everyone staring at him, but he smiled and looked at Piper.

"Pipes, I wanna ask you something."

Her breath caught in her throat. This was it. Jason was proposing. Shakily, Piper got up and went to the front with Jason. He took her hand and knelt down.

"Piper," he began, "you are the sweetest, most talented woman I know..." Jason went on and on with his half-mile long mushy speech, but Piper wasn't listening. Jason was proposing. She couldn't believe it. The thought made her giddy with excitement.

Jason cleared his throat again. "So, Piper, I was wondering..." he put his hand out and his dinner plate flew in to it, "...if you would finish my enchilada. I would hate for it to go to waste."

Piper stopped breathing. Several campers laughed, and Grover shouted from the Poseidon table "I'll take it!" before Percy shut him up.

Piper stared into Jason's eyes. "Are–are you serious?" She managed.

Jason set the plate down, still on his knees and still holding her hand. He reached into his pocket and brought out a small box.

"Not about the enchilada." He answered, letting her hand go to open the box. "Piper, will you marry me?"

She let out a breathless laugh and helped him up. "Of course!" She shouted, kissing him. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the half-eaten enchilada fly to Grover, who caught it triumphantly.
