RPOV

It has been exactly eleven months since moving to Court. Dimitri and I have our nice apartment near Lissa and Christian, Aleksandr is doing great. He's growing up so fast. Dimitri's shifts aren't that bad. Whenever he guards Christian, Christian is with Lissa. This means that I'm also with Lissa when there's no royal politics. Plus, in one month I'll be able to go on duty and guard Lissa. And though Dimitri is technically on duty, he still gets to spend time with us, his family. Things were looking good. Until one day...

Lissa and Christian had some meeting with the Queen about getting Lissa on the Council. This would take all day. Fortunately, it was Dimitri's day off. We spent the day relaxing. We woke up, ate breakfast, went for a nice walk with Aleksandr, came home and ate lunch. After lunch I was changing Aleksandr, when I noticed that I had just used the last diaper. "Hey, Comrade. Do you think you could run to the store and get some more diapers? I just realized that we are completely out. Aleksandr his wearing his last clean diaper."

Dimitri smiled at me. "No problem, Roza."

"Great! Would you mind taking him with you? I'd wanna take a shower."

"Of course I don't mind, Roza. It's a short trip to the store, but it's still one on one time with our son." Dimitri then got Aleksandr ready to go to the store while I threw away his dirty diaper. Dimitri kissed me goodbye and left with Aleksandr to get some more diapers.

I walked down the hall and into Dimitri and I's room. I went into the bathroom and turned on the shower. Right when I was about to get undressed, I was hit over the head. I felt myself falling to the floor as everything went black.

I woke up freezing. I felt cold all over. I couldn't stop shivering. I opened my eyes, but my vision was blurry. I blinked rapidly for awhile, and my vision cleared. I looked around at my surroundings. I was in a small square room completely made out of gray cement. In the corner on the ceiling was a small light that barely lit up the room. I was on the floor right below it. On the opposite side of the room was a cot that was barely big enough to suit my size, but it looks like it would do. On top of the bed was a blanket and a pillow. I quickly sat up to get to the blanket, but the throbbing in my head made me rethink getting up. The room spun and my head was pounding. I brought my knees up and held my head in between my legs, breathing. After a couple minutes the dizziness subsided and the pounding lessened a little. I slowly moved into a crouch and then stood up. I carefully walked to the cot, leaning against the wall for support. I fell down on my side onto the cot. I quickly pulled the blanket over me and wrapped myself in it. I immediately didn't feel as cold as I did at first. I rested my head on the pillow, glad that someone had the decency to put one on the uncomfortable cot.

As I was laying there I started to think. I have no idea where the hell I am. All I remember was Dimitri leaving with Aleksandr to go to the store. I was going to take a shower, but I was hit over the head and blacked out. I wanted to know who the hell did this and what they want with me. I thought I was finally safe and happy. I wanted to get up and pound on the door and find out what the hell is going on and why I'm here. I decided that wasn't a good idea. I can't risk getting myself into trouble right now, because I never got a chance to tell Dimitri something really important. I'm a week late. I wouldn't mind have another kid, it's just bad timing. I was really excited to start officially guarding Lissa, but now that won't happen. She'll ,make me take another year off. Dimitri and I used protection once we started being active, but last time we thought it broke. The only problem is we couldn't find which one it was with the others with it in the trash.

As I was thinking, my thoughts were interrupted by a pair of footsteps. The door unlocked itself with a few clicks and then opened up. The person that must have kidnapped me walked in. They approached a few feet away from the bed, smiled wickedly, and said, "Hello, Rosemarie. We're going to have some fun."
