"So, what you're telling me is that Dimitri knows that Aleksandr is his?" asked Lissa.

"Yup," I said, popping the 'p'. I was in Lissa's room eating breakfast while she held Aleksandr. I was currently telling her about my encounters this morning. "He asked if he could spend time with him today."

"And?" Liss asked, making a funny face at Aleksandr.

"And what?" I stuffed another spoonful of cereal in my mouth.

"Are you going to let Dimitri spend time with Aleksandr? I know that you're still mad at him for leaving, but-" I cut her off.

"I'm going to let him spend time with Aleksandr today. I know how it feels to grow up without a dad and a mom. It's not a feeling that I want him to experience."

"Okay. When are you going to tell Dimitri he can spend time with him?"

I put my bowl down and went to pack Aleksandr's things back up. I'd head back to my room, get some extra toys, clothes, e.t.c, and then head over to Dimitri's. "I'll drop him off now. I've got to finish packing my dorm so I can move into guest housing until we head to court. I have to get some more of Aleksandr's things first though. I doubt Dimitri has anything yet." I went to hug Lissa goodbye.

"Okay. I'll see you later. Good luck."

"Yeah, yeah. Go suck face with Christian or something." Liss punched my shoulder.

"Rose!" I threw Aleksandr's bag over my shoulder and picked him up his carseat. I ran out the door shouting, "Later, Liss!"

I walked back to my dorm and grabbed the extra stuff needed and headed towards guest housing. I found his room and knocked on the door. He didn't answer. I knocked again. He still didn't answer. I was about to head back to my dorm, but I turned around and saw him.

"Roza," he breathed. He sounded shocked.

"Hey. Can I come in?"

He unfroze himself and got his key out to unlock the door. He motioned for me to come in and shut the door behind me. I sat the diaper bag on his couch and sat Aleksandr down too, taking him out of his car seat. I was about to hand him over, but not before a small and simple warning. "Drop him and I'll slit your throat."

He laughed. God, I missed that laugh so much. It was like angels singing to my ears. "I promise I won't drop him." I gently handed Aleksandr over. It was one of the hardest things to do. I just don't want Aleksandr getting hurt. Dimitri smiled like crazy and gazed at Aleksandr in adoration. I started putting bottles in the fridge, diapers and baby powder in the bathroom, and Aleksandr's favorite blanket on his bed. I walked back out to the living room and saw Dimitri sitting on the couch holding Aleksandr. I hid around the corner and took out my phone. I turned the flash off and took a picture. I put my phone away and walked back out. I cleared my throat to get his attention and started with instructions.

"I put his blankets on your bed. If he gets tired lay him down there, but put a barracade of pillows around him. He tends to squirm. There are fresh bottles in the fridge, just warm them up and feed him every two hours. I put diapers and baby powder in the bathroom under the sink. His toys are in the diaper bag. He needs to go down for a nap in two hours and feed him in an hour. Also,-" he cut me off.

"Roza. I have two nieces and a nephew. I know how to take care of a kid. Relax."

"You can't expect me to be calm. Letting Lissa watch him is one thing. Letting you watch him is another. You hurt me and that's not something I can forget that easily."

"Can we talk later? I want to make things right." He sounded sincere and genuine. But I'm not sure if I can let him back in so easily. I'm afraid I'll get hurt again.
