calum ★彡

"i don't need to be with family," calum thought as he walked down the street kicking rocks, coins jingling in his pocket.

he decided to take a power walk around his neighborhood, he didn't want to be home alone on such a nice day.

before calum had woken up, his parents left to god knows where, leaving calum alone, not that it was something he wasn't used to.

as he was walking he saw multiple signs signalling towards a...garage sale?

calum decided to visit, what harm could that do?

so there he was, slowly examining every item placed next to a priced tag. some things had caught his eye, like an old green day cd, which of course he picked up, but there was other things like old picture frames and toys that interested him. who had used them before? and what little kid would own it next?

he lifted his gaze from the antiques in front when he heard a far voice shout something.

"luke? lucas? there's a young man waiting to get rung up, could you help me, please?" the voice shouted to someone, someone called luke. he knew a boy a named luke, a very pretty boy named luke. and when he saw a blonde quiff poke up from almost no where, he gasped.

"yes, mom," luke said in a small voice as he walked towards calum.

luke's breath hitched in his throat when he saw it was calum hood himself, standing there in front of his very eyes.

they both knew each other, they had gone to school together since the beginning of time. calum was the punk, the rebel, the typical "nice to meet you sir, your daughter calls me daddy too." he was popular and had lots friends, including girlfriends and he was hot, and everyone knew that. (including luke) (duh)

and luke? well, luke was the shy boy, the typical "i have only one friend and i'm not sure how he likes me." kind of kid. luke was far from popular, people just knew him because he would usually do their math homework, or because his only/best friend was michael clifford, the captian of the (american) football team.

of course calum knew who luke was, and of course luke knew who calum was, but of course neither of them knew that.

the two hormonal teenaged boys stood in awkwardly, not talking until calum decided to cut through it.

"so, how much would this be?" he said, his words like screams set on fire.

"um, it-it's f-free," the blonde boy said, fists clenching behind his back. he hated his stutter, but what could he do about it.

"are you sure? i don't mind payi-" he got cut off by the smaller boy.

"no n-no no it's fine, take it." luke managed to let out, hands flying in front of him, trying to assure calum he didn't have to pay.

"oh, okay. thank you, luke," calum said as he turned around and walked away from the small house, but not before, turning around one last time seeing the little blonde boy a frozen and blushing mess because calum hood knew his name.

and with that, calum walked home with a smirk on his face.
