"what an ungodly hour to be awake. this should be illegal," luke thought as he sat up in his bed.

just then, he recieved a text.

hey gaylord im here

luke laughed, he didn't take "gaylord" personally, he knew his best friend was kidding and gay himself. michael was openly gay, but luke? luke hadn't told anyone other than michael.

he ran outside to get into michael's car. every morning michael came by luke's house to drive both of them to school. michael was a senior though, so they couldn't hang out as much at school.

"hey michael," luke said quietly, but loud enough to hear joy in his voice.

"what's gotten you so hap-" michael said before getting interrupted by luke. interrupting people was a bad habit of luke's.

"did you know calum hood came to my house yesterday? well, he didn't come to my house to see me, but i gave him a free cd. now that i think of it, i don't know why i gave it to him for free." luke said all in one fast breath looking up michael as he drove.

"calum? calum hood?" michael questioned with wide eyes.

"yes! god, he looked so cute. his jeans are tighter than my a-" luke said, but stopped, suddenly realizing he was thinking out loud.

"well you should've smashed luke," michael said with a smirk as he pulled imto the school's parking lot.

"michael, you're such a horny bastard. i'm not sure how ashton likes you." luke said with a straight face as a blush rose upon michael's face.

ashton was michael's boyfriend. he was big and he was 21, which meant he wasn't even in school anymore. to be honest, luke was intimidated by ashton.  you'd probably think michael was a top, but everyone was a bottom when it came it ashton.

luke got things out of his locker while michael impatiently waited beside him.

"you can leave if you wan-" luke said just as michael ran off to go somewhere, wherever.

"wow, what a friend," luke mumbled under his breath before closing his locker and tripping over his own feet, books, notebooks and papers flying everywhere.

he heard a voice above cackle at the small boy scrambling on the floor, but the cackle soon turned into a mumble and the person fell the floor to help.

luke looked up with fearful eyes, but the fear faded into admiration when he saw calum's muscular, tattooed arms reaching for the papers and books.

luke stopped what he was doing to stare at the older boy in awe, but the older boy soon stopped too, meeting luke's blue eyes.

luke could feel his cheeks turning a bright shade of pink, mouth opening as if he say about to say something.

but before he could say anything, the bell rang.

"see ya later, princess," calum said handing the blonde boy his papers, once again leaving luke a frozen and blushing mess because calum hood just called him princess.
