〜☆ seven ☆〜

calum ★彡

calum walked into school looking for luke. he wanted to ask luke to hang out because he thought the day before was so fun-well, he really just wanted to spend as much as he could with luke.

he found the little blonde standing at his locker talking to one of his friends, michael. michael didn't like calum and neither did a lot of the school. you either hated him or admired him and the only reason michael didn't hate calum was because calum was friends with his boyfriend, ashton.

calum walked over to luke, making eye contact with michael causing to walk away, rolling his eyes. luke's head shot as he quietly called for his red headed friend and jumped when he felt a familiar pair of arms around his waist.

"hey, what do yo-oh, h-hi calum," luke whispered realizing calum was the reason michael had left. "hey beautiful," calum whispered back against luke's ear.

"i wanted to ask if you wanted to come over after school. i'll pick you up at 4?" calum asked almost hesitantly. "um, yeah. why not?" luke replied with a teeth filled smile.

"alright babe, i'll see you later," calum said while peppering kisses all over the back of luke's neck. "bye bye," luke answered and walked into class.

it was finally 4 and calum walked up to luke's door and knocked with his free hand, his other hand holding a bouquet of flowers.

he knocked until someone opened the door. "calum? is that you?" liz, luke's mom, asked the taller boy. "oh, hi ms.
hemmings!" calum answered cheerfully. luke and calum had gone to school together forever and it had totally passed calum's mind and that luke's mom and his mom were actually friends.

"why, haven't you grown to be quite the lad? are these flowers for me?"

"thank you, but actually these are for luke,"

"LUKE? i mean, oh, luke?"

"yeah, uh, where is he?"

"oh, he should be up in his room,"

"thank you, ms. hemmings." calum gave her a quick hug and placed the flowers on the dining table. he jogged up the stairs to hear faint sniffles and sobs from behind the door and pushed to door open to reveal a small lump in the blankets.

calum walked inside calling luke's name. he moved towards to small lump and moved the blankets slowly to find luke looking smaller than usual, shaking with tears running down his face.

"oh baby, what happened?" calum asked quietly, but luke just grabbed calum's hand and pulled him under the covers and snuggled into him.

"louis died today, calum," luke sadly whispered into calum's chest.

"louis? who's louis?"

"louis is my fish. my dead one," luke said slowly, trying not to start crying again. "it's okay if you want to laugh, calum."

"no, no it's fine. you're gonna be fine, okay luke?"

"okay, calum."

calum just smiled at luke and kissed his nose. when he pulled back he noticed luke looking at his lips and then back up at his eyes and calum did the same. so luke scooted closer into calum's arms and pushed himself to his height and pressed his lips against calum's. luke knew calum had also felt the shock by how he didn't kiss back right away, but eventually did.

luke slowly removed his lips, but quickly placed another kiss on calum's lips and sunk back to his real height to cuddle calum again. calum could feel luke smiling into his chest and said "and i thought i would be the one to make the first move," with a chuckle.

"you shush," luke giggled back and closed his eyes. calum just ran his fingers through luke's hair until he fell asleep. "i guess he's not coming over anymore," calum thought as he slowly started to drift to sleep himself.
