Chapter 5

For the next few weeks ever time David came to me I called Sarah and told her David got lost again. That's only when I'm in my room though. When I walk around I'm always with Anthony so David would walk away.

I was riding North when you know who rode up. "Vanessa" John said. "John what do you want" I asked. "Storm won't let me ride him again" he said. "That's my father's horse, only him and I can ride storm" I can't believe he's trying again he needs to leave that horse alone.

"Your mother and I want to go riding but I can't ride Storm" John sighed. "Then ride Stephen he likes you" I snapped. "Stephen got sold remember honey" he said. "Well then your outta luck. Oh and don't call me honey" I rode off so fast it was like I was never there.

"Vanessa!" Now that's a pleasant sound. "Anthony" I smiled. Anthony came riding out on Romeo who's absolutely beautiful. "I have a little break do you want to go riding" he smiled. "Your breaks are only a few minutes though" I said. "Then I'll spend them riding with you" he smiled.

"Really why" I asked. "She's amazing" he said. "Really" I smiled. "Yeah North is an amazing horse she's a great jumper" he said. "Oh yeah, right" I sighed. "So where do you want to ride" he asked. "Summer falls" I asked. "It's winter and it's too far away from the palace" Anthony said worriedly. "Your just scared I'll beat you" I said. "What no that isn't it" he said. "Really then why" I smirked. "Your not-" he started. "Your scared to lose" I teased.

"No I'm not I can beat you any day of the year" he said. "Well today isn't one" I took off with Anthony leading in the back. I made to the falls but Anthony was far behind.

Seeing this place reminds me every time of the decision that I have to make. Eugene or someone I haven't meet or have I. What if David is! The way that we clicked when we first met but he is planning to kill me. Oh what if I could change his mind about me.

"I think you've been working with North cause Romeo could barely keep up" Anthony rode through and it looked like a scene in a fairytale. "No your just slow" I said. "Really Romeo is the fastest guard horse ever" he smiled. I laughed.

"I should go back now I have to talk to someone" I got back to palace and Anthony soon followed. I found David outside North's stables. "Listen David I owe you an apology about avoiding you and everything" I said. "Accepted now what do you say we get to know each other" he said.

He smiled not a happy one a creepy one. "Well you know I have to go see Anthony. He needs my help on something" I ran to find the weapon room. If he's planning to kill I need to be armed but he's so sweet and cute I just don't see it in him.
