Chapter 8

Beep

I groan and turn the alarm off, looking at the time. It's friday and the week has passed so fast studying with Reece.

I yawn and I go to Zach's room to wake him up but when I see there is company.

There is a girl laying next to him.

He has a girlfriend! Omg, I knew it, he has been acting so weird lately.

"What are you doing here?" Zach asks.

"Umm.. I came to wake you up but you already did so I'm gonna go..." I answer and rush out of the room, giggling.

I get to my room and head to the shower. After, I put some ripped jeans with a plain shirt and my convers. I apply a little bit of make up and walk down the stairs.

Will Reece pick me up today? He didn't text me so I don't think so; I frown at the thought.

A knock in the door interrupts my thoughts. I open it and see Reece standing there, looking amazing as always. He has a white shirt with some jeans and black convers.

"I could give you a picture if you like, it will last longer." He teases and I blush, looking away from his body.

"You could have texted." I reply

"But I didn't."

I roll my eyes and hop in his motorcycle, like every day in this week. I actually like the motorcycle; the wind in your face, looking at the streets; it feels nice.

"We arrived!" He dramatically screams and helps me get down.

I nod and we head into the school. Everyone is starring, and I just look down as always but Reece is smirking, though I don't fight it.

"Hi Lexi, Reece." I hear Antonio say, heading towards me and Reece.

Antonio has always been friends with Reece, so for him is so comfortable that I'm studying with him; though April and Tess think I'm going to fall for him. Like that is going to happen! I feel nothing for him... I think.

Lexi! I hear the voice inside of me shout and I just look at Antonio again.

"So I'm going to my dad's boat tomorrow and I wanted to ask if you guys wanted to come." he says.

"Sure." I answer and Reece nods

"Good! You can invite April and Tess too." Antonio says

"Lexi!" I hear Tess shout.

"Hi!" I greet.

"Wassup guys." she asks and looks at Reece.

"Good, are you coming tomorrow to Antonio's boat?"

"Yea." She replies

I nod and look at Reece.

"I have to get to English but I will talk to you later." I tell him.

"Sure. Bye, Cupcake!" He shouts in purpose so that everyone looks at me.

I roll my eyes and head to the classroom with Tess, who's actually smirking.

"Can you stop!?" I ask annoyed.

"Stop what?"

"Don't act stupid! Reece and I are not together!" I scream at her.

She nods and sits next to me.

The day passes by and I'm waiting for Reece in my locker so that he takes me home.

"Thinking about my perfect body, princess?" He teases and I answer.

"Keep telling yourself that, Mathews."

"Again with the last name! Please cupcake, I know you love me but do not exaggerate."

I roll my eyes and ask

"Your house or mine?"

"Not today, Lex. I have things to do." he tell me and turns on the motorcycle.

I frown, but look away, so that he doesn't see me.

We get to my house some minutes later and I hop off.

"I will see you tomorrow." I say and touch his arm, feeling sparks through my body.

"Yea." he smiles and I open the door of my house.

"Be safe." I say  but it's too late, seeing that he already left.
