Drunkness Doesn't Do Any Better Reece [12]

Chapter 12

When I wake up, I look at the clock and see is ten o'clock. I jump out of bed and put some jeans and a shirt. I work at the library today but my shift starts at twelve, so I have time to have lunch and head there.

When I get down, I notice my dad and Zach are already gone so I just seat in the sofa and watch friends, which is my favorite tv show in the world.

An hour flies by and I hear a nock in the door. When I open it I see Reece standing there, his eyes red and I notice he is trying not to fall.

"You are so beautiful Lexi" He says caressing my cheek, I blush.

"You are drunk" I say and pull him by the arm to the couch, closing the door behind me.

I go to the fridge and grab some water and Tylenol.

"I don't want to take that!" He wines. Ohvgosh, he is sooo drunk.

"You are going to take it." I tell him and Reece nods, taking the pill and drinking the water with only one swallow.

"What happened yesterday?" I ask

"I went to this party and I took one drink, two, three and then a thooousand" Reece explains exaggerating the word 'thousand'

"Okay. Lay down and sleep, you will feel better when you rest." I say and grab a pillow

He nods and lays down, closing his eyes.

"Lexi"

"Yes" I answer

"Stay with me" he says and I just nod, laying down beside him.

Reece grabs me by the waist and pulls me next to him, and I just smile.

We stay like that for what seems forever, though is just some minutes.

O my god!! Im late for my shift!

Don't leave him alone Lexi!! A voice in my head complains

I decided not to leave and stay with him, they wouldn't fire me for just one day.

I close my eyes and stay with the warmth that is embracing me.

When I wake up, I feel arms wrapped around me and a head resting in my neck. I giggle and turn around, looking at Reece. I kiss his cheek and stand up but his hand grabs my arm, pulling me with him again.

"Don't leave" he whispers in my ear, making me shiver.

I nod and he grabs my waist again but this time my arms go around his neck.

"You know you are beautiful right?"  He asks and I blush, looking at his eyes.

"I'm not"

"You are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in this world" he whispers and looks at my lips, getting closer. Our lips are brushing when we hear the door open.

"Hey Lexi" Zach says and looks at Reece.

Um... I-I'm gonna leave..." Zach mummbles are rushes up the stairs.

I laugh and Reece does the same.

"I should leave. I have to get to my house, my mom must be worried." He says and I move for him to stand up.

"Okay" I respond; walking him to the door.

"Bye Lexi" he says, cupping my cheek and I feel his lips brush my ear

"You are beautiful, remember that" he tells me and with that he leaves.

He just called me beautiful.
