Chapter 5

When my last class finishes, I head toward my locker. I decided that I'm going to take the deal. Reece will make my life miserable anyways; and it's only for a week.

When I arrive, I see Reece smirking to the girl that passed by him. I roll my eyes; he so absurd.

"Hello, my dear Lexi." He greets, teasing me.

"We are going to make this week the fastest one in the world, okay? I accept the deal. Now, what do you want me to do?" I ask.

"I actually need help. My grades are going down and I need you to tutor me for the exams that are coming up in a few months." He says and sighs.

"So that is it? No running in school naked or something like that?!" I ask and smile, thank god I don't have to do anything like that.

"That was a rumor! I'm a gentleman, I would never make a woman do that." Reece teases again.

"Sure, now please let's go. Your house or mine?" I ask.

"Yours."

"Okay."

We walk to the parking lot so that I get to my car and Reece gets in his motorcycle.

"See you there." He says and leaves.

How the hell does ne know where I live?

Stalker.

I sigh and head to my house.

When I arrive, Reece is already there.

I roll my eyes when I see him smirk and I open the door if my house.

"Do you want something to drink?" I ask nicely.

"Some water would be nice."

I nod and get two glasses pouring water in them.

"So with what subject do you want to start?" I ask.

"Algebra would be great." Reece replies.

"Okay, let's go to my bedroom." I tell him.

"It's been five minutes and you already want to take me to your bedroom. Geez!"

"You are such a perv!" I hit Reece's chest playfully.

"Keep telling yourself that, princess."

"Stop calling princess!" I scream at Reece.

"Why?"

"Because I hate it."

"No you don't. You love it..." He grabs me by the waist and I take his arms away.

"Stop. It." I repeat slowly.

"Wont do, cupcake."

"Really?! Cupcake?" I ask him.

"I don't know, it just fits you." Reece replies and I roll my eyes.

"Then I can call you idiot, right? I mean, It fits you." I mock him, which makes him chuckle.

"You are so different from the other girls in school." Reece tells me.

"Is that any good?" I ask.

"It depends. The good is that you don't follow me around like a puppy. Well, most times you don't." He teases at the end and I laugh.

"What's the bad?"

"I don't know.... Yet." Reece replies.

"I don't have anything bad. I'm perfect." I say in a five year old voice.

"Keep telling yourself that, cupcake."

I groan and head to my room, Reece following me from behind.

Hours pass and it's seven o'clock. Reece and I were still studying. A few minutes later, I hear a voice downstairs.

"Wait a second, I'm going to see who is downstairs. Probably my dad." I tell Reece.

"Okay." he answers

I walk down the stairs and see my dad sitting on the couch, turning the tv on.

"Hey dad." I greet.

"Hi Lexi, how was school?"

"Good. I'm studying with a friend upstairs." I tell him.

Sure, like he's my friend... Ha ha ha

"Ok."

I hear steps behind me and look to see Reece standing there.

"Sorry to come down, I just thought something happened to Lexi." he apologizes, scratching the back of his neck.

Aw.... He's nervous!

"It's fine, son. What's your name?" My dad asks.

"Reece Mathews, sir." he answers.

So NOW he behaves!

"Call me Daniel. I knew your father, he was a very good man. Sorry for your loss."

Reece nods and looks down, sadly. I frown when I look at his face.

"Do you want to stay for dinner?" My dad asks Reece.

I widen my eyes and look at Reece, who seemed to notice.

"Thanks for the offer sir, but I have to go. Bye  Lexi."

"Bye."

Reece leaves and I head to the kitchen to cook.

After eating, I go to my room and lay in bed, staring at the roof. What happened to Reece's dad? How did he die? When?

All my thought get interrupted by my phone. I look at it and see a message

Don't dream about me princess. I'm picking you up tomorrow so you better be ready when I arrive.
