Ayato opened the door to his room for his two triplet brothers. Laito kept his hands held tight onto Kanato's shoulders while whispering calming words. Kanato hugged his bear tight, nearly to the point of ripping the seams. Laito bent down to attempt to look into Kanato's eyes. The purple haired vampire kept his gaze toward the ground. "Kanato, baby brother, we're going to undress you now to put you in fresh pajamas, okay?" Laito informed him quietly. Kanato shrunk back, squeezing Teddy a bit tighter, but nodded silently. Laito gave Ayato a simple look that he understood. Ayato went in his drawers to find some small pajamas while Laito tried to take Teddy away. Kanato's arm swung out for his hand to come in contact with Laito's cheek harshly. Laito gasped and turned his head to the side. Kanato's eyes widened as a gasp escaped his lips. He couldn't believe what he did. He went to apologize but nothing came out so he hugged his bear, holding an ashamed look on the already sad face. Laito smiled kindly at Kanato. "It's alright, it's fine. I should have asked, I'm sorry" Laito whispered his apology. Kanato was silent for a moment. He soon held out Teddy to his older brother. "Thank you" Laito smiled a bit wider. He took the stuffed animal and placed it right where Kanato could see. Ayato placed three new pairs of pajamas on his bed and walked to his brothers. Ayato and Laito carefully removed the wet clothes from their shivering, smaller brother. Ayato brought over dark red fleece pajamas for Kanato to be dressed in. Once Kanato was dressed Laito returned teddy to him and picked him up bridal style. Ayato pulled back to sheets for Laito. Kanato was placed in the center of the bed. Once the redheads were done taking care of the quiet small vampire, they peeled off the rain-soaked clothes sticking to them and replaced them with warm, fleece black and dark green pajamas. Both of the boys got in the bed on either side of Kanato. They had their bodies turned toward the shivering child while he lied on his back, staring at the ceiling. "Goodnight, Kanato" the redheaded vampires whispered. They both began to play with his hair. Kanato's eyes began to flutter immediately. "Good...night...my brothers..." Kanato whispered. Kanato's soft, even breathing soon filled the room. Ayato's disheartened face looked up to meet Laito's own sad face. 'I'm worried' Ayato mouthed. 'Me too' Laito mouthed back. Ayato sighed and shut his eyes. Laito looked at Kanato once more before letting exhaustion from tonight's events take over. Each of the triplets slept with a pained face next to each other that night.
