Kanato's tears still flowed. Ayato, presumably all cried out, just stared blankly at the floor. Subaru sat down in a corner with his head hanging. The distressed faces of the triplets during each attack would haunt everyone's mind. The terrifying images would be burned into the triplets memory. Another reason to hate Cordelia. "Everyone is here, right? Other than Reiji and Laito..." Shu asked. They sat in silence for a few moments. "No...." Ayato quietly spoke up, "Yui....she's not here." Kanato sniffled and wiped his eyes. "Every attack....she wasn't there" he whispered, "Every attack she was either missing or arriving late..." Shu's eyes widened. "Subaru!" He called. The Snow White haired vampire looked up from the floor. "Yes?" He answered, he sounded drained. "You showed up with Yui later than everybody else after Kanato's claw mark attack. Were you with her before the incident?" Shu asked. "No, I had met up with her coming down the hallway. I was in my room before all of that happened" he responded and explained. Shu's suspicion grew larger. "Think hard. Which hallway was it?" He questioned his brother one more time. Subaru thought for a moment before his eyes lit up. "She came from the hallway one door down from Kanato's room! She was alone!"
