With the older brothers off doing their own thing, Laito and the younger brothers had time to discuss the situation amongst themselves downstairs. Laito explained everything he was told to them. We're dead" Ayato stated in a hopeless voice. "No, we're not" Subaru glared at him, "Have faith in the eldest, even Shu is serious about this." Kanato scoffed. "Are you kidding me? Just because you have this brother complex with Shu doesn't mean we'll be okay!" Subaru growled and stood up, almost punching the Violet haired vampire before Ayato held him back. "I say we call him." Laito suggested. "You said before, he wouldn't answer in time" Ayato reminded him. The four of them sighed. Laito suddenly looked concerned. The other three stared at him. The vampire stared to cough. Laito clutched his throat and fell forward. His gasping worried his brothers. "Laito, man, what's wrong!" Ayato asked. Laito coughed hard. Blood splattered on to the ground in front of him. "Reiji!" Kanato screamed desperately. Laito collapsed fully on the ground, blood seeping past his gasping lips. Reiji ran to the stair landing to see why he was called so urgently. Kanato was in tears, Ayato cradled Laito's head in his lap praying he'd be okay, and Subaru stood panicked and in shock. Reiji called Shu and teleported down to the younger brothers. "what happened?" He asked while scooping up Laito. "He...he started coughing then blood came up and he collapsed coughing and gasping for air" Subaru explained. Reiji nodded and teleported himself and the boy in his arms away. "Everyone out of here. Up to Ayato's room" Shu ordered. The four remaining teleported straight there.
