Tristen never showed up for any of his classes today. I wonder if he just stayed home today. I opened the door to our dorm and set my bag down my bag down. I called out, "Dude where were you? Why didn't you go to class?" I opened the door to his room, not there. I walked into the kitchen and found his apple core from earlier this morning, lying on the floor. I picked it up. It had been sitting here for a while, it was rotten and shriveled, the inside was a tanish shade, and the outside had turned green to brown. I tossed it and it landed square into the trash. I found it odd cause Tristen never leaves trash around. Food trash that is. I opened the fridge and saw a note. I picked it up and it read, "Erik, I stepped out for a bit and will be back soon. Tj." I took his word for it. I grabbed a soda and continued with my day.
