I looked around to see what made the noise. I didn't see anything big so maybe it was nothing. Then the leaves on a bush began to rustle. I pulled out one of the pocket knives I found and pulled out the blade. I got ready for whatever it was. Then out comes a small little fox. I calmed down some and put the knife away. The fox kept walking as if I weren't there. It wasn't until it was a foot away from me when it knew of my existence. It stopped in it's tracks and looked at me out of fear. "Hey, hey, It's ok. I'm not going to hurt you," I whispered. I slowly got down on my knee and reached for the fox. It took a step back. I reached for my pocket and pulled out the beef jerky. I opened up the bag and pulled a piece out. The fox smelled the jerky and took two steps forward. I took a bite and offered the rest to the fox. It walked all the way up to my hand and sniffed the jerky. It took it out of my hand and started eating it. I pet the fox and it let me as it ate. "See, I'm not bad," I reassured it. The fox had orange fur, and black spots on it's ears and tail, it's paws were brown. It was odd, there aren't that many foxes here in Flagstaff, especially one's like this. The Fox walked away from me and into the hole. "Is that where it lives? It must be a pain with the canister in there," I thought. Then a minute later, the fox brought out the canister! I was a bit surprised but very greatful. I picked up the canister and pet the fox on the head. I pressed the button and again, it spit out a piece of paper. Only this time, instead of a code, it was a riddle. The Highest peak is where you seek.
