I arrived at the river about an hour later. I apparently need to actually look cause I didn't hear any beeping. I started walking along the stream. It's very nice out here. What with the frost covered trees, the nice cool air, all the noises of wildlife, and the quiet swish of the river. Speaking of, the river was starting to look a bit frozen. I took step on it to see how thick the ice was. Crack! Still pretty thin I guess. I kept walking but not for long when I heard the, Beep! I looked all over carefully to see if I could see it anywhere. Beep! It sounds so close. As if it were right beside me. Beep! Or maybe, above me. I looked up and could see a little flash in the trees. That has to be it. Question is, "How in the world am I going to get that?" I looked around for something at least. Out of the corner of my eye I saw something shine in the bush. I walked over and looked through only to find two pocket knives. One had a brass handle with a regular silver blade. While the other was completely black. Both had the letters C.M engraved into them. on the handles. "Well this is somewhat convenient." I pulled out each blade and began using them to climb the tree. It was tough, but not impossible. After a minute or two of climbing I finally could reach the little device. I rested on a branch and grabbed the device. It was a small green canister, with silver bindings on each end. On the side there was a little button. I pushed the button and it opened a small opening on the top. A piece of paper was sticking out the top. I took out the paper, it had a small code of some sort in all bold, 4D25. "4D25?" I repeated. I climbed down the tree and kept looking at the paper. Out of curiosity, I pulled out my phone and messaged the code to the random texts I got earlier. I'm guessing was right, I already have a reply. "Near the peak is where you seek." "Near the peak?" I repeated. I stood there, thinking. After a minute I walked back to my car and left.
