I picked up the chair Tristen had been sitting in and threw it, where it had hit a man right in the face, he fell back unconscious. After that everyone broke loose. A man came swing at both Tristen and I one at a time. Each time we blocked and swung back. Some of them were pretty easy. Although The one's with the batons stayed back and waited. I'm pretty sure they were sending out the easier gus first, and they were waiting to see if they were needed. Well they're gonna get their wish. I grabbed the current guy in front of me's head and pulled it down as I raised my knee. Afterwards I made my way towards the batons. It took them a second until they realized they were being targeted. As I walked by the broken chair I grabbed two of the broken legs and planned to use them as my own batons. I gripped them in my hands and went to swing at the first one, he blocked it with his own but as he did I swung my second one and hit him in the side. As he lowered his hands I hit him over the head with the first. He dropped to the floor, I could tell he was aching with pain. I don't feel thrilled putting these guys in pain, but I have to when protecting myself. I looked back at Tristen and my jaw nearly dropped. He had one guy in a headlock, and he elbowed and punched anyone who came near him. I cleared my throat and turned back just in time to block a baton coming straight for my face and counter it. I knocked out the last baton man, I looked up to see Cory watching us as if this were some entertaining show. He especially was amused with Tristen. While he was distracted with Tristen I managed to slip out of the circle. I ran towards the stairs and climbed up to where Cory had been watching it all. By the time I got to the top of the stairs Cory had noticed me. He turned away from the fight and towards me, as he did so I could see the machete sheathed away. "Looks like I get to join the fun." Cory said with a grin.
