One Summer with 1D

Prologue

"Hey Mom, do we have plans this summer?"

"Not that I know of, Cedes. Why?"

"Well, I've been thinking, I've never been to summer camp and I'm 17 now so before I get too old, I wanna attend summer camp!"

"That sounds fun! But may I ask, how long have you been planning this conversation?"

"Um, before this school year started," I gave my mom a weak smile that seemed to say "surprise".

"Do you know of any others that are going to summer camp?"

"Um, just Kate, Maggie, and Sailor."

"Aren't those your best friends? So all of you have been planning this all year?"

"Pretty much."

"So what camp do you want to attend?"

"Camp Summer."

"That's what it's called?"

"Yeah, it's supposes to be THE Summer camp, if you know what I mean."

"How much does it cost?"

"I'm pretty sure the fee is $105."

"Wow that's not that bad. I thought it was going to be at least $300."

"Mom, it isn't boarding school."

"Well, usually camps for your age are very expensive."

"So are you saying yes?"

"Surprisingly, yes." I squealed and jumped up and down and kisses my mom on her cheek.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you! You are the best mom ever!"

"Tell me something I don't know. Now go get packed." I nodded my head and ran upstairs to my room and grabbed my polka-dot suitcase and filled it with t-shirts and shorts and necessities. This summer is gonna rock.
