Chapter 16: Lovestories

Rie's pov

As i woke up, i looked outside. It was starting to get dark. I kissed the sleeping Yui on the lips and then she started to stretch her hands up in the air.

Yui:
"Oh.. Rie.. what time isit."

Rie:
"I guess its around 6pm."

She looked at me with her sleepy eyes and asked me if i wanted to stay for the night.

Rie:
"Hmm i cant i have to head to the office tomorow morning.."

Yui hugged me tight and whispered that she love me alot. With that a sharp pain on my collar bone kicked in.

Yui:
"A mark.. don't forget me."

I wondered what she meant but i had to head hone before i caused more trouble. I called mother on the cell and told her what happened and that i am heading back.

Mother:
"Ah no no, Moa is on the way there to pick you up. Do wait for her."

I took a short walk around the alley to the station to lessen the gap i would have to walk later.

Moa:
"Ao!! I mean Rie!!"

I didnt respond to Ao anymore because i don't get called that anymore.

I turned around and so Moa running towards me. When she got close enough..

Moa:
"Hiiyaa!!! How can you make me worry like that!!"

She jumpped on me and pinched my cheeks after. After awhile i pulled up my shirt to prevent Moa from seeing the mark Yui left, as i didnt want Moa to feel cheated.

As i reached home i crashed on my bed and stared at the ceiling. What happened to me today. First i couldnt move my body then my body acted on its own. Then i was very angry when i saw a doctor.

I feel like i have forgotten something. Something important. As i was about to fall asleep i heard the door creaked.

Moa:
"(Whispers) Rie, you asleep?"

Rie:
"Was about to, can i help with anything?"

Moa:
"Can i sleep with you tonight? I miss you."

I pulled up my blanket and invited Moa in. I knew i had to tell her sooner or later about Yui but.. i am to tired to do so today. There were just so much a person could handle in a day. Suddenly i felt Moa's hands slipping into my blouse.

Rie:
"Moa!."

Moa:
"For warmth. You have been acting wierd today. I didnt want to say this but did something happen with Yui?"

I couldnt speak, for someone whom is happy go lucky, she sure know how to pick things up before i could say anything.

Moa:
"You smell just like her.. Rie.. you won't leave me right?"

Rie:
"I wont."

Its was all i could promise, but could i really fufil it? My vision slowly fading to black as the last thing i remembered was shifting Moa's fringe to the left before drifting into dream land.

I jolted as if i have been in a terrible nightmare. I wonder which part of my memories is gone today. I looked to the side of my bed and saw Moa, her snores are like a little hamster.
I moved down and gave her a peck on the cheeks. I had to keep my guard up today as i am heading towards the office.

I draw three words of man on my palm and swallowed it down. I didnt know what was it for but it was said to calm the nerves of one self.

I headed out.

Rie:
"Out i go!"

Mother:
"Becareful let me know if anything happens!"

As i look back i saw Moa's face at the corner of the door. She looks sad, but i could not worry about that now..

Office office!

As i entered i was greeted by the staffs there and they were warning me how angry the boss was. In my head was how dead i was.

I was scolded and warned for like an hour or so. I staggered out of the office.

Rei:
"What happened?! I was so worried!"

Before i could talk, the feeling i got yesterday at Yui's house was back.
I started losing sight for a second, then two. I ran towards the toilet but to no avail.. as i pushed open the toilet doors i fell to my knees, my legs are not able to move anymore.
