Hello my lovely readers! I'm going to try do do POV's in this chapter! Yay, trying new things! Cookies for all.(::) (::) (::) Izzy, signing out.
Adrie:
"We are going to what!?" I cried out in disbelief, "you guys go ahead, I'm finding another way onto the ship." In truth, I didn't want to go underwater with a boat over my head in order to steal the HMS Interceptor, because it would reveal my tail, and that would be a disaster.
The plan was to get on the HMS Dauntless and pretend we were about to steal; sorry, commandeer it, and then when Norrington and the others were trying to detain and search for us on the Dauntless, swing over to the Interceptor and set sail.
I ran to a dock that was out of the sight of Will and Jack, and did a front flip into the water. As I hit the cool ocean water, I felt the familiar tingling sensation as I grew my tattered tail. I swam over to the ship, and, since I had a tail, hauled myself up using my arm muscles. By the time I landed on deck, my legs were in place of my tail, and the two idiots were about halfway to the ship.
Jack pov:
I felt my jaw drop as the whelp.. sorry, sorry, young William and I climbed on board the Dauntless and saw Adrie; not only on the ship, but evacuating the ship for our use. The men on board seemed truly terrified of her, although I couldn't imagine why.
Adrie gave me a cocky smirk over her shoulder at me and I found myself grinning back.
"Alright, phase one completed. Onto phase two!" Adrie cried excitedly, "they are taking the Interceptor out of the docks in order to capture us! Everyone hide and prepare to swing over." Her excitement was contagious and I found myself grinning from the adrenaline.
ADRIE POV:
Once the Interceptor had safely pulled up to the Dauntless, I grabbed a rope and swung over to it; quickly followed by Sparrow and Will. I then took out my knife and started sawing through the grapples that anchored the Interceptor to the Dauntless. As I stared at James Norrington's shocked face, I smirked and shouted, "Should've seen it comin', shouldn't you Norrie! Oh well, I don't think you are a fool, but that's just my opinion amidst thousands of others!" I laughed as he tried to protest. "Shh," I shushed. "Do you hear that? That's the sound of no one caring." His mouth gaped open, and he stared at me, flabbergasted. (Love that word!!) Out of the corner of my eye I saw Jack nodding approvingly. I did a sarcastic salute and sashayed away to go work on the ropes. Those were more useful things I had learned as a mermaid.
I can't believe it, I am finally escaping my life of fancy frocks and boredom! I am going on an adventure, and get to put my skills to good use! I think I sense a change in the winds of fate.
I'll update soon! Talk to y'all later! 🙏 Au Revoir! Izzy
