"It comes with the job description," I stated wryly. Hector narrowed his eyes, and I smirked at him.
"What exactly are your intentions?" I questioned.
"Well," he drawled, "I was planning on deserting you on an island with Sparrow and the girl, but now I just want to get you out of my way." I schooled my emotions and kept a straight face.
"How exactly would you plan to do that?"
"Well, missy, telling ya would ruin the surprise now, wouldn't it!"
