Hola human beans! Sooo, anyone can ask me a question as long as it is not involving personal info and inappropriate stuff! This is gonna be awkward. But go ahead; shoot.
Jack's POV:
As we sailed, I took a moment to look at Adrie. She was attractive in a strange sort of way; all in all not the type of girl I would go for. She had lightly bronzed skin that seemed to glow in the late afternoon sun. Her hair was long and smooth, and a bright scarlet color. Her hair had tiny braids in it, and flew behind her in the wind. She was of middling height and slim. She also looked very strong and fit. She worked the ropes like she had been born with the knowledge of how to use them. When Adrie turned around, I saw her sea green eyes that seemed to pierce your soul, and for to first time, I saw a ring of reddish orange around her pupil.
I watched as she walked around deck with that certain sway that you only get from being onboard a ship for a long time. The strange thing was that she had only ever been on a ship once or twice. At least, according to her.
Adrie POV:
I could feel Jack's eyes burning holes into my back, but ignored him. After a while I heard him walk away and start arguing with Will. I heard a sword leave a sheath, and knowing how hotheaded will could get, I immediately told him to calm down. Instead of calming down, he threatened Jack who in turn, swung the boom over so that Will was dangling over the ocean. Knowing that he wasn't in immediate danger, I turned back to my work.

Still Adrie's POV:

"Oh no! You are not going into town without me! I am not a damsel in distress! I can beat you both in a sword fight and can take care of myself!" I screamed. If you're wondering what caused this, it was Jack and Will telling me to stay on the ship. Trying out the logic part of this situation, I said, "but I need new clothes! I can't go anywhere dressed in my nightdress." In truth, I really didn't care about my clothes, but if I wanted to go into Tortuga, I'd need an excuse. Jack finally relented, and told me of a clothing store where I could get good clothing. I thanked him and hightailed it off the ship before he could change his mind.
"Hello sweetie," an old woman said, "come for a dress?" "Actually, I've come for something a bit more suitable for sailing." She nodded her head and took me to the back of the store where there was a variety of pants, shirts, corsets, scarves, and bandannas.
I was soon outfitted in tight, stretchy, durable pants with decorative zippers, a loose off the shoulder red shirt, new black boots that were much more comfortable than my old fancy ones, a red and gold patterned scarf strung through my belt loops, and a new black bandanna to tie back my hair.
After paying, the old woman directed me to a jewelry store where I got big hoop earrings and strung feathers into two long strands of hair that framed my face. Knowing my father would hate it, I also got a small cartilage piercing on my right ear. Feeling utterly like a pirate, I headed to the tavern that I was planning on meeting the boys at.
