America had decided to bring New York with him, just in case Minnesota wanted him to apologize or something like that. Danny was not pleased with this grumbling the whole way about how he didn't want to be stuck there for hours as the sap rambled on and on about pointless things while trying to feed them. Not that her food was bad but she would instantly ask what they thought of it, and verbally worried if she'd cooked in wrong regardless of your answer. And constantly apologizing for things that had nothing to do with her, Danny couldn't stand people like that...

At least out loud, he'd given up trying to connect with her years ago. They were just too different, to be honest he hadn't talked to her in years so the idea of suddenly being face to face with her again was over whelming. Not that he'd tell America that, he still had his pride and as an Italian America this was something he didn't intend to have knocked down by an idiot. Glaring out the window, he continued his grumbling. Reminding America more and more of his distant cousin Romano.

Nothing seemed a miss as they pulled up in front the cozy little house painted blue as the sky, the light was on upstairs so that was another good sign that she was home. To be honest America was a little nervous too, he hadn't really seen or spoken to the state since he'd asked her to hold onto the mirror  that linked their world to the 2p's world. She'd graciously allowed him to house such a dangerous item in her home, though thinking about it now America couldn't remember if he'd warned her about not looking into the mirror too long. Ah well, Sarah had a thing against looking at her self anyways so there was no real danger.

Knocking on the front door, America kept one hand on New Yorks shoulder. (In case the state tried to run away) There was a crash from upstairs, fallowed by loud pounding feet rushing down stairs. Whipping the door open, it only took the girl a second to recognize who was there. Setting down her bat, Minnesota turned her shining blue eyes up at America before pouncing on him and nearly crushing him with a hug.

"Al, it's been so long! Come in, Come in! I'll make tea or something, are you hungry? Why are you here? We're going to finish that puzzle we started right? It's been sitting on the dining room table so long- Danny!? Your here too!?"

Much to the teens displeasure he found himself in on of Sarah's famous bone crushing welcome and goodbye hugs. Laughing she ushered them inside, bouncing happily as she lead them the the living room. After they sat down, she stared at America with sparkling eyes that could have melted anyone's heart.

"So... do you need anything? You guys never visit often so it has to be important."

She said a bit slower, seeming to have calmed down a bit. So America started to explain what was going on, as the story went on her smile faded fallowed by a frown that grew deeper and deeper.

"That about covers it, Wisconsin said he saw you carrying D.C. home. So would know where he is?"

America asked kindly, instead of doing what she'd usually do which is instantly answer. Minnesota was silent, eyes dark some what as she got up from her chair. Walking over the window she looked torn about something, before with a weird flash in her eyes she glanced over her shoulders with a very different expression then she normally wore. She was actually glaring at them, leaning against the window's frame.

"Don't trust every thing that cheese head says, why would I take a sick person from a hospital? Do you think I'm some kind of freak or something?"

Her voice was dripping with annoyance, rolling her eyes she stared out the window. What the very confused pair didn't see was the smiling reflection of a certain strawberry blonde Brit watching the whole thing gleefully. Eye's swirling in sync with each other, Oliver had to resist jumping and clapping with glee. That might break the spell he had over the normally kind hearted State, it was almost time. He could hardly wait, he'd had enough of being trapped in that mirror.
