Pathetic Girl

~ Josh POV ~

I slowly made my way downstairs, it was now morning and I decided to let Aly sleep. She needed it.

My feet touched the ground as I heard Marie.. It's her name I think. Talk with someone that sounded like an older woman. Her mother probably. I sat down slowly on the stairs and listened to their conversation..

"It's so unfair!" I heard Marie scream as a fist banged on the counter "Marie they're sleeping!" The mother whispered yelled "Aly doesn't have any future. Look at her she dropped out of school. Smokes. Drinks. Self-harms. And last year she wanted to try drugs with me.. And now look at her all happy that she got a boyfriend, but not a normal one, a fucking famous person. The one and only Joshua Ramsay-" she paused as I flinched at her saying my name. It didn't sound right to my ears. But anger built inside of me 'Aly doesn't have a future' she's her friend no.. A sister to her no? Why is the world fuckedd up "I was born to be rich, famous, and loved by someone famous I didn't drop out of school. And didn't get into dangerous things." Marie continued to hiss. She a selfish Bitch.. Only thinking about fame and money.

I was tired of her babbling. I slowly got up and went upstairs and went to wake up Aly.

I sat down on the bed and kisses her cheek "wake up" I sang in her ears "Ramsay, I'm sleeping" she mumbled pulling the covers over her head. I laughed pulled them out of her face and trowed it on the ground. She groaned and hit my arm. "Babyyyy pleaseeee.." I whispered in her ears again as I saw goosebumps coming on her arm. I laughed and pulled her up and I brought her on my lap. "Do we really have to get up" she asked putting her head on my chest as I moved her hair that was in her face "Yesss" he groaned and kissed my cheek "alrightttt" she got up as she putted her arm out. Signing that she wanted to help me to get up. I smirked and pulled on her arm as she fell back on the bed. She quickly got up and slapped my arm "fuck off Ramsay!" She grabbed her phone trying to look pissed and made her way to the door.

She grabbed the doorknob and then stopped and looked at me. I was still siting on the bed "well are you coming?" She laughed knowing I had won again. I smirked and got up as I kissed her and opened the door. I grabbed her hand and made our way to the kitchen.

"Morning lovebirds!" I heard Marie squeak as it sent me a shiver down my spine. Her voice had changed. Like if she was faking the voice of a 6 years old kid. Aly let go of my hand and went to hug Marie. When she pulled back she walked to the fridge while Marie eyed me from my head to toe. Occasionally staring at my lips.

I took a deep breath trying to calm down the anger inside of me and sat down at the kitchen table as Marie gave me a plate "pancakes for breakfast my lovebirds" I whispered a thank you as she took out two classes. "Want some milk Josh?" Marie asked me as I shook my head and Aly replied for me with a smirk "it makes him sick" I stuck my tongue out as she winked and Marie looked at me speechless. "Oh same. I can't drink milk it makes me trow up" she said that casually like if it was normal.

At first I nodded believing her until I heard Aly dropped something on the ground. It was a bowl. She looked shocked and speechless staring at Marie. Marie flinched and smiled "God Aly you're clumsy" she giggled taking a broom out of the closet "S-since when can't you drink milk" Aly asked stuttering as she moved towards me and grabbed the back of my shirt. Marie stopped picking the broken bowl and looked at Aly and laughed "since forever girl. Can't you remember I would always be sick when I would go to your house because I would drink so much milk" she smiled and giggled trying to look cute. Which failed miserably.. I felt Aly's breath in my neck as she kissed my cheek. She just stayed there. Her head in the crook of my neck as I slowly grabbed my hand and whispered "are you okay?" After a few seconds she replied "she's lying. She CAN drink milk, and she never came my house. She was scared of my mom.." She whispered as I felt anger in her voice.. What the fuck is Marie playing.

~ Aly's POV ~

What the fuck is Marie playing.

When we were all done the cleaning we sat down and ate.

Josh got up and said he was going to go take a shower, I nodded as he kissed my cheek and left.

Marie and I both sat in silence Until we heard the shower open "what the fuck are you playing!?" I snapped at her

"What?" Marie said normally

"'Oh I can't drink milk' bullshit Marie." I pointed to her face.

"You want the real answer as an honest friend?" She smiled as I nodded "I like Josh he's cute, and we could be cute." She laid her head in the palm of her hand as I got up and hit the table.

"Fuckking dare and I'll beat you up. He's mine. Don't play your selfish games with me. We went over this once when we were younger!" I banged my fist on the table

"Yeah but we're adults now, we're on a different playground" she smirked as I heard the shower closed. But I continued to speak. I wanted Josh to hear all the bullshit from her mouth.

"Different playground my ass. You just want to go back to your selfish rules. Fame. Money. Stealing people's boyfriend. Your pathetic!" I screamed as I saw Josh coming downstairs

"You know what's pathetic. You. You dropped out of school. You went into smoking. Drinking. Self harming and you wanted to try drugs. And I guess your boyfriend doesn't know about that doesn't he." Josh looked at me speechless as I bit my lips

"He'll know soon. But stop your games. And fuck off. I won't let you take something precious away from me." She laughed at me response.

"I'm better than you, and you know that. I have a future. Compared to you" I broke it off. I grabbed the vase on the table and trowed it at her as she barely dodge it. Next up I grabbed the chair. I grabbed everything that was around me and trowed it at her as she screamed "PATHETIC!! HE DOESNT LIKE YOU!!!"

The fight lasted two minutes until Josh came in running and grabbed my arms and whispered in my ears "shhh.. Shh... Calm down.. Calm down I'm here, baby.." He voice was shaky like if was scared of me. Or scared that something bad would happen to me. Like if I would believe her instead of him. I glared at her one last time as she smirked and winked. I ran up to the room. As Josh followed me.

I entered the guess bedroom and collapsed to the ground crying. I couldn't believe my best friend could be so selfish with my past. Josh quickly arrived as he sat down and brought me on his laps as he sang in my ears Perfect from their album Ever After..

"Sorry.." Was all I managed the say when he was done singing "don't worry about it, I love you" he wrapped his arms around me and kissed me forehead "can we go back home?" I said as he still has his lips against my forehead he pulled back and looked at me "what about the reunion" "fuck the reunion" he smiled as we got up and packed our bags.

We made our way downstairs "where are you guys going?" Marie asked us as we had our bags "home!" I yelled "but tomorrow the reunion" she made our way towards us as I glared at her and she stopped walking "fuck the reunion I ain't going" and we that we, Josh and I, left in the taxi. Straight to the air port.

I opened my phone and texted Matt

Aly: we're coming home
Matt: already?
Aly: I wanna punch a brick wall
Matt: be safe kids. We'll see you soon x
