*Harry's POV*

Niall went back every evening that weekend. Always with his laptop and a disneydvd. We constantly heard the animals cooing and awwing at certain scenes. They enjoyed The Lion King the most since Niall had the sing along version of that film.

It's weird seeing so many animals sing 'The Circle Of Life' And 'Hakuna Matata'.

Niall had the best time of his life, it was bizarre.

He told us before about his deal with the animals, about the paper he had found and the strange atmosphere. After Niall told us all of that we started thinking about the previous days and we suddenly realized that some of the animals had been more jittery or more vocal than usual. How did we not notice any of it.

The animals are completely themselves around Ni, but around us they are being careful. Like they don't want to scare us away or to give us time to wrap our minds around things. Louis started talking to the animals today, and Louis being Louis pretended to never be afraid of it all. He just went straight for it as if all of them were the best of friends. He became the best of friends with the squirrel monkey Zoey. She is very girly and gigglish and has the 'tiniest crush' on Lou. Shocking right?

Zayn hasn't been in much, but when he is he hangs around the lions. They are not that far away from Stelmaria, so he waves at her. He is not really talking just yet, my guess is that he was the most freaked out about it. Stelmaria is not complaining though. It is better than nothing and whenever Zayn waves she nods or says a simple 'Good day'. The lions accept Zayn's proximity and just lay there, waiting for him to make the first move. Especially Aslan seems happy to be around Zayn. Aslan is just a cub, but a very bright and energetic one. He tries to make the boy feel alright around them by showing him his tricks or roaring real loudly in a cute way. The raven haired boy always applauds him and smiles fondly at him, I'm pretty sure it's not going to be much longer before they start talking.

Liam became close to the newest addition to the zoo, a golden lion tamarin that has the name Ozymandias that they shortened to Ozzy. Even the little monkey couldn't pronounce his own name. Even though Liam had sworn to never ever talk to any of the animals he couldn't just ignore the little fellow. He is one very persistant dude. Ozzy kept saying Li's name over and over again, even escaped his cage to attack Li from behind, draped his little hands in front of Liam's eye, until he stubbed his toe and fell. The buzz cut boy reminds the monkey of his brother, also very fatherly but funny and genuinely caring. Ozzy himself is a bit of an adventurer and tries to scare people to just suddenly appear out of nowhere in his cage and smile brightly showing of his glistening teeth. I'm pretty sure that if he was aloud to talk to the visitors he would scream 'PEEKABOO' or make the Tarzan noise.

Liam is spending more time with Lou because Zoey's and Ozzy's cages are close together. They love bonding even more, but the murderous looks on Niall's face shows how jealous he is. He should ask Lou out already. The boy is so blind when it comes to looks of admiration and love. Maybe I should help Ni, you know.

Myself, I feel more drawn to giraffes, always have and always will. Today I said 'Hi'. It's a beginning right. Let's start this slow. They still refuse to talk when there are a lot of people in the Zoo, which is completely understandable. It was still one of the weirdest thing to do. True, I've always talked to the animals, it's like having conversations with your dog. You talk, but don't expect them to talk back. Now I'm just afraid of how human they are going to be and some humans can be extremely rude or inconsiderate.

I noticed when I was cleaning the stables that Nolan, the giraffe, was standing there alone in his corner. It's the corner he is always in and never comes out from. Not even now when the sun is shining and it's nice and warm. All the other giraffes are outside, running around, drinking water, eating leaves from the trees, but no not Nolan. Before I know it, I open my mouth subconsciously and start talking to the poor giraffe boy.
