Chapter 10

*Zayn's Pov*

Another week had passed and a few more notes found their way to us. All saying the same thing. How someone wanted to take over the place and that he had to find the perfect way to do it. None of us had a clue to what that place was, but we all somehow guessed it had to be the zoo. Why else would we find the notes there.

I promised to keep my eyes open when I left the zoo to go to work. Who knows, maybe some of them were standing at the entrance, seeing how they could get in, because honestly... A vortex... Stupidest thing I have ever heard. Everybody knows that it doesn't exist.

The whole thing left my mind when I saw Harry in his zoo outfit. That boy was mighty fit and utterly cute. Whenever I was near him I lost every single thought and got absorbed by him. He's like my own personal brand of heroin and I don't mind that I'm addicted to it. That boy is perfect in every single way. He is lush, adorable, witty, brilliant, amazing. I just can't find a single regret in ever meeting him.

I was pulled , harshly, out of my train of thoughts when Safaa started squealing. Yup, today I brought them with me again. It had been weeks since they saw the guys and they missed them terribly. Who am I to deny them time with their best friends?

Safaa ran straight to Harry who was strolling around the park probably taking his break. Whaliya followed right away and Doniya just huffed.

"HarryHarryHarry! We're back!"

"Why hello my favourite ladies. How are you!?" Harry yelled back and ran towards my sisters to close the gap and attack them in the biggest hug he could manage.

The girls swung their arms around Harry's neck and giggled.

"We are fine Harry! We just really missed you!"

"I missed you too sweetie. Sorry I haven't called or came by. I still own you a game of hide and seek right?"

"It's okay, Zayniepoops told us that you were very busy, so you are forgiven." Safaa patted his cheek with her tiny hand.

"But that game of hide and seek sounds good. How about now in this massive place?" Whaliya smiled sheepishly.

"I can't right now, because I have to go back to work in about ten minutes. But how about you go visit Lou, Li and Ni and when all of us finished our shifts we play the game. What do you say?"

"Oh my god yes yes yes!" Both Safaa and Whaliya were doing their cute little happy dance.

"You are going to join us right Doniya? It wouldn't be the same without you.", Harry asked my third sister.

"That'll depend on what Lou wants to do. I missed the sass master."

"Are you developing a little crush on him?"

"Don't be stupid, I know that he is gay and that he is infatuated with the little leprechaun. He can't shut up about it in his texts, but he understands me better than Zayn does. Sorry bro, no offense."

"None taken sis, I'm glad you have someone to talk to.", I ruffled her hair and she hit me on my chest. That girl is strong! Damn. Note to self: never let Doniya hit you ever again. I rubbed the soar spot and grinned wide at Harry.

"Hey Babe."

"Hey Haz."

"Oeh, we down to Babe now... CUUUTTEEE." the girls cooed at us and were smiling smugly.

"When are you going to date... I mean... it's quite obvious you luuurrvvee each other." Whaliya added winking at us.

"Well, If you weren't here I would ask your brother on the best date ever, but yeah, you are kind of messing that up right now." I saw Harry winking at me and I nearly burst out laughing. Seeing their sad faces made me feel guilty though.

"Guys, Harry is joking. He loves having you here." I cuddled all my sisters and sent them on their way to their best friends.

Harry and I talked until it was time for him to go back to work. I helped him out where ever I could or just watched him when he was taking care of the animals. That boy doesn't know how hard I have fallen for him.

Before I knew it, Harry caught me staring and walked up to me.

"I'm going to be very straight forward now, but I don't care... your lips look delicious and I just want to kiss the life out of you."

"Well, if we are being forward...What's stopping you?"

Harry looked at me with a shocked face, but composed himself as fast as he could. His hands found their way to my cheeks and he pulled me closer. He licked his tongue, blinked and brought his head closer to mine. I closed my eyes, I really wanted to savour the moment.

"Ooohhh, you guys is finally going to kiss. Evewybody is goings to be happy abouts it. Hooway for Curly and lover boy." Puffin happily said when he flew passed us.

Harry pulled away from annoyed and I huffed. I could kill that tiny bird right now.

"Hey Puff. What's up."

"Nothing Lover boy, now kiss kiss kiss. SMOOCHIE SMOOCHIE SMOOCHIE."

"Yeah, not with you around, sorry. We want our first kiss to be private you know. Enjoy it to the fullest."

"I wills not interrupt. Pwease, can I watches?"

"Nope sorry Puff."

"Pfrt, Curly not fun anymowe. I's mad at you."

*A few hours later*

Harry and the boys finished working and all of us were seated at the zoo's restaurant enjoying our dinner. We talked about the game we were about to play and decided that Whaliya and Liam would try to find us throughout the entire park. Another rule was that we had to stay in pairs just in case something happened. That way we would always have someone to help us out.

When all of the leftovers were thrown in the bin we returned to the entrance of the zoo. We would start the game there. All of us were excited and bragged about how we were going to win the game. Harry took my hand in his and started running. Both of us laughing out loud and enjoying each other's company. We found a hiding place in one of the closed shops. Sitting behind the counter, next to each other,  we crept closer and closer until every inch of our bodies were touching. Harry's breath hit my mouth and nose. I took his hand and connected our fingers. We stared at each other for quiet a long while, not hearing anything that happened outside of the shop.

Harry put his hand on my cheek and leaned in. For the second time that day I closed my eyes, not much later I felt lips press on mine. The kiss was slow and soft, but perfect. When we pulled apart we didn't grin or smile or dived back into it. No, we savoured every tiny detail of that kiss. Haz put his forehead against mine and caressed my hand.

 "I'm going to take you out on the most wondrous date you have ever been on. Then I will kiss you again and ask you the question I wanted to ask you for a really long time now, hoping that you'll say yes and I can finally call you my boyfriend. I want to do this right, I promised your sisters and I owe it to you. You are too extraordinary to let go of and you deserve the best. I want to be the one that gives it to you."

Our romantic moment was disturbed by the buzzing of Harry's phone.

Haz, you have to come over to the open spot between the Lion's and the bears. No joke! Get over here now! Game over! HURRY. Liam

We ran as fast as we could. Something serious was up. Normally Li's texts are fun and contain lots of x's, this text was completely the opposite. We arrived at the designated spot and nearly collapsed at the sight. There was a hole in the middle of the air. It was purplish and floated about a meter and a half above the ground. When Liam threw a stone in it, it just disappeared.

"Guess this is the vortex from the note?" Niall said.

All of us looked shocked and confused. How was this happening?
