Where We Left Off In Last Chapter|3rd Person
"Don't. Touch. Her." Luke growled and took a step into the room. Beau and Amelia both looked up as her sobs muffled into small gasps of breath.
His lips were covered in red liquid, that Beau knew was blood and his black t-shirt had a few stains on it now. "You can't just keep killing people, Luke, you can't kill her." Beau whispered to where only his brothers hearing could pick up.
A small laugh left his lips as he walked over to where Amelia sat. He got on his knees in front of her and made her push her knees down. Luke wrapped his fingers around Amelia' s wrists and pulled her to the edge of the couch so her face was mere inches from his.
As he stared into her now bright hazel eyes he spoke. "I don't actually plan on killing her, anytime soon." The sound of Amelia' s now increasing heart beat filled his ears as he smiled slightly.
"Luke-" Beau started but Luke sent him from the room as his grip tightened around Amelia' s wrists. She gasped at the sudden increase of pressure and winced slightly.
He let go of her wrists and stood up. With a small smirk Luke left the room after stating, "You're mine," and Amelia began to rub her wrists. She winced as the small purple bruises already began to appear on her pale skin.
Suddenly the door swung open and Jai walked in kicking off his boots. He swiped a hand through his hair and walked into the living room. "Hey Am- What the fuck happened?" He rushed over to her and lightly grabbed her wrists.
"Luke," Amelia whispered softly not expecting Luke to hear because he wasn't in the room. But he heard as he sat on his bed in deep thought. Not even he knew why he hadn't killed the girl yet for some reason he just felt like he couldn't.
He took a hand through his hair and laid back in his bed. While staring at the ceiling he thought about his last victim. How she'd thrashed and screamed trying to save herself. He sighed and turned his thoughts back to the girl downstairs with Jai.
A rush of jealousy ran through him when he thought about Jai and the girl. Suddenly he was in the living room with his twin on the floor under his hold and his fist in the air. His sharpened teeth bared as a low growl emitted from the back of his throat.
Amelia sat up against the wall in shock as she'd just witnessed Luke come out of no where and throw his brother to the floor. "Luke what the fuck?!" Jai screamed as he shoved his brother off himself and sat up.
His eyes landed on Amelia in the corner and he raised his hands slightly. "It's okay, Am," he said and stood up. Amelia nodded and slowly got up also.
Quickly Luke was in front of her with her pinned up to the wall. "You're mine," he whispered in a low voice before he dipped his head and a sharp pain could be felt in Amelia' s neck. She yelped out in pain with widened eyes.
But yet it wasn't completely pain. It also felt.. good. She fisted Luke's hair, which seemed to be curly and straight at the same time, as he moaned into her new flesh wound. A small whimper left her mouth as the pain increased. A small scratching noise could be heard from the right side of her head and as much as she could, she turned. Luke had made small scratches down the wall as he'd continued to drain Amelia's life source from her. "You taste incredible," Luke's raspy tone could be heard as he pulled his head back and licked his lips.
Amelia' s limp body slowly fell to floor as her hand cupped around the injured side of her neck. Jai' s eyes widened before he ran from the room. As Amelia pulled her hand back the sticky blood fell onto the floor in small droplets. Her eyes looked up at Luke. "W..What.. are y..you?" She managed to croak out.
He sat down in front of her and grabbed her wrist before slowly licking the blood off her hand and licking his lips again. "Take a wild guess, babe." He smirked as the word came into her mind. "Vampyre. Also known as an Immortal."
With that Luke bit into his wrist and slowly lifted it to her lips. "Drink," he commanded harshly and slowly Amelia began to suck his abnormal black blood. As it slid down her throat she couldn't help but gag at the metallic taste it had.
He pulled his wrist back as it completely healed. Along with her neck. "B..But.. they don't exist.." Amelia insisted and shook her head.
"You just saw it, babe, better believe it," he stood up and picked her up bridal style since she was in a weak state. Slowly he carried her back to his bedroom as her eyes closed and she began to go completely unconscious.
-The next day-
Amelia' s eyes opened slowly as she winced. Slowly the events of the night before pressured themselves back into her mind. But one thing continuously played in her head, the way Luke said 'Vampyre' continued to play over and over.
Shoving it out of her mind she went to sit up only to be held down tighter by her waist. When her head slowly looked down she saw a tan arm around her waist. She wrapped her hands around it and tried to pry it off only for it to get tighter.
A small whimper left her mouth and the arm left her waist. Amelia turned her head to see Luke, now with his back facing her, on the bed beside her. When she turned her head back she sat herself up and took a deep breath. There was a burning sensation on the right of her neck and it was starting to get worse. Amelia stood up and slowly padded across the floor toward the wooden door.
Remembering the way around, because Jai had shown her yesterday, she went straight to the kitchen to find something that could possibly ease the pain. When she was inside the kitchen the first thing she did was open the top right cupboard. Meanwhile.
Luke sat at the edge of his bed. Just thinking. Thinking about why he didn't kill her, thinking about why he was jealous of Jai, thinking about his past, about his mom and Alexander.. He sighed hearing the cupboards open. He knew it was probably the girl looking for food. And it was keeping him up. Well, it's not like he could sleep anyway. He was just watching her sleep, keeping his mind as ease with itself.
Another cupboard opened and this time a large bang came from the kitchen. Luke just sat there, he didn't want to know what'd happened. He didn't want to get up.
A small laugh left his lips at just how much he seemed like a human. But he wasn't. And he knew the girl would have a hard time grasping that. He closed his eyes, attempting to sleep, even though he knew he wouldn't be able to.
The strong scent of lavender and blood filled his nostrils, making his eyes jerk open and making him sit up in a flash. Closing his eyes again Luke made everything go blank, focusing on his hearing.
"C'mon," Jai encouraged trying to get Amelia to come near him. Her arm had a slash from her elbow down to just above her wrist and he wanted to help her. But she'd enclosed herself in a corner and was horrified to even look at the mess.
A bowl had fallen from the cupboards, the edge surprisingly sharp and had slashed her arm. Almost immediately after it happened Jai had rushed in. While Amelia had just backed up into the corner.
After last night she couldn't even bring herself to breathe around them, even though she was kind of forced to. She was scared, shocked, frightened. Overall she just wanted to go home.
The blood gushed from her cut open arm as a whimper escaped her lips. Amelia brought herself up, off the floor slowly but still didn't come out of the corner. "Am.. It's fine, I won't hurt you," Jai coaxed, taking a small step toward her.
Tears brimmed in Amelia's eyes. "B..But he will.." Jai already knew who she was talking about; Luke. And he knew that she was right, he just couldn't let her know that.
With a small shake of his head, he reached out to her, "No he won't," Jai lied straight through his teeth. Amelia hesitated before grasping Jai's outstretched hand and walking closer to him. He sent her a friendly smile and began leading her around the glass, bringing her toward the bathroom.
Even though they didn't have a first aid kit Jai knew he could help her get cleaned up. And that's what he did, although she winced when he washed out the wound, she let him wrap the bandage securely around her arm.
When he was finished he smiled at her. "All done."
