Miranda's pov

I was sitting in my room listening to my iPod. Teenagers by MCR was on when my brother Landon and his best friend Jeydon ran into my room. I paused my music and said "what do you guys want?" "I have the most exciting news ever" Landon says "well what is it?" I say "I won the lottery and you, Jeydon, and I are going on a trip." He says excitedly. "What where are we going?" I asked "well several places and we are taking a private jet" my brother says "oh my god when are we going?" I say "in three days so I would suggest you start packing" Landon says and walks out. Jeydon stays and I look at him "yes?" I ask "oh nothing" he says and sits on my bed. "Then why are you still in here I ask. "Oh I don't know your brother was boring me" he says "how could he be boring you he's your best friend and you guys are never bored together" I say "i dont know. What are you listening too?" He says "nothing you would want to listen to" I say "oh really just tell me you never know" he says "fine I'm listening to my chemical romance. Do you like them?" I say "yes actually why don't you play it out loud?" He asks "um ok" I say and take my headphones out and start playing it out loud. "Oh I love this song" he says "oh really that's nice do you even know the name of it" I say "teenagers duh" he says "hmm maybe you do like them" I say and go back I my drawing. Next thing I know he is sitting next to me and trying to look at it. "What are you drawing?" He asks "um Jake Pitts" I say "oh I love bvb too" he says "maybe we have more in common than I thought" I say "well you never really listen to me" he says "sorry about that" I say "well I guess since your sixteen and I'm seventeen I'm not important to you right?" He asks "jey don't be stupid you're one of the most important people in my life" I say "well thanks same to you. Do you want to go see a movie with me and Lan tonight?" He asks "what movie" I ask "despicable me 2" he says "yeah I've been wanting to see that. What time?" I say "10:30" jey says "ok" I say and jeydon gets up and starts to leave. "Hey jey?" I ask "what ran?" He asks "you dumped that creep Stephanie right? I ask "yeah why?" He says "because you deserve better" I say "he smiles and walks back over to me. He hugs me and I say "I'm really looking forward to that trip" "me too" he says and then he smiles one more time and walks out. Man am I screwed I can't

like my brothers best friend. This is going to be a long trip. That for some reason I'm still very excited about.
