Hey guys! So basically this week has been pretty crummy for me (as you may be able to tell in the reading.) Well anyways, this is the chapter where it starts to get good so I hope you guys like it! :)
~adsting01My feet sink into the golden sand, as they follow the water that retreats back into the ocean. The hot sun beats down on my exposed shoulders and the loud sounds of squawking of seagulls fill my ears.
Cold water suddenly splashes across my back. "Gotcha!" I hear behind me. I quickly turn around, sparing no time to allow the villain to escape.
My uncle laughs in front of me holding a bucket in his hands. "You little-" I reach out my hand and slap his back, laughing. My uncle and aunt both had off today and so they decided that we were all going to go to Poipu beach. Today was the perfect day to go too. It is the middle of the week so it isn't very crowded, and it's that type of warm where it's not too warm but it's just warm enough.
Aunt Heather lays under an umbrella with the baby. "Jen? Can you come over here for a sec?" My aunt calls from across the beach, smiling warmly.
"Sure!" I lightly jog over to my aunt, my tan feet sinking into the sand as I leave the cool ocean water."So your uncle and I have been talking..." My aunt starts, with a blank expression on her face. I honestly have no idea what she is about to say next. "And we decided that even though you didn't do so well on your math exam doesn't mean that your whole summer should be ruined," I feel a smile spreading across my face, "And plus, the private school you go to is one of the best in the state, so it is supposed to be hard. So... Your uncle and I have talked it over and we have decided to allow you to go to a party tonight that a couple of local teens are throw-"
"Ahh! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I hug Aunt Heather and then check my watch for the time. 3:15. Shoot! I have so much to do before this party tonight! "Uhh... Aunt Heather?"
"Hmm?" The basically perfect lady before me looks at me with a questioning look."Can I, umm... Go ahead and go get ready for the part-"
"Go for it," my aunt interrupts, "I'll text you the details later." Aunt Heather waves her hands in a shooing motion, informing me to leave. I grab my hot pink Gucci flip flops and wrap myself up in a towel, and make my way down the road to the house.

"So anyways, you wouldn't BELIEVE what my aunt just told me!" I practically scream into the phone to my best friend Katie. I am currently holding the phone in between my shoulder and my right ear while I finish applying makeup to my face.
"WHAT???" She screams back in a high pitched tone.
"She invited me to this, like, local party tonight! Like I'm pretty sure there's going to be beers and cute guys and like all that cool stuff! First party of MY summer, whoo!" I say the last part sarcastically, adjusting the phone so I now hold it like a normal person. I walk into my room and sit on my bed.
"OMG no way! That sounds like so much fun! Speaking of cute guys though..." The line goes silent.
"What?!" It's not like Katie to ever be quiet.
"Oh it's nothing important..." I can hear Katie's voice start to break, "I just saw Jake making out with that chic Vanessa a couple of weeks ago, I'm so sorry Jen! I should've told you sooner!" I can hear Katie start to cry on the other side of the phone. Jake is my boyfriend shouldn't I be the one sobbing?!
Ehh, whatever I kind of expected from him. I mean that bitch can't keep his hands off a girl for more then 10 seconds, did I really think he was going to last a summer, never mind a week, without his perfect little girlfriend there to play with?! Ohhhh noooooo, I don't get played like that. That bitch is going to pay.
"Whatever Katie, he obviously isn't worth it." I end with that, and hang up the phone.
Don't get me wrong, I'm pissed at Katie too. That slut thinks she can get away with anything. NEWSFLASH: she can't. It's one thing if she waited a day to tell me, but nope. She told me weeks after! And I bet she encouraged him to find another girl. Hell no, I bet she WAS that other girl. Know what? What-freaking-ever! I don't even care anyways.
I walk towards my closet space. Know what? I'm going to have the best freaking time at this party, and nobody is going to stop me. I shift through all my clothes. I was kind of hesitant in the first place to go to this damn party. Being loyal to my boyfriend and all. WELL NOT ANYMORE.
I find my button down blue shirt, white jean shorts, baby blue sandals, and my hoop earrings. I lost thirty pounds for this joke of a guy! I went out for hours shopping for designer clothes to impress him! All for what? For a cheating jerk like him?! Well, guess what?! I couldn't care less about him! I strip out of my bikini and throw it on the floor. He actually did me a favor! In contrast to my nerdy, desperate sixth grade self, now boys basically line up to date me! I am the most popular girl at my school by far! And I am definitely the richest kid as well! I pull on the clothes I just got out of my closet. My life couldn't be better. Correction: it actually just got ten times better because now I am single and I am ready to mingle BOYS. I walk out of my room, leaving my dirty bathing suit and towel strewn on the floor.

3526 Pane road. That's the address that my aunt sent me just moments ago, and the house that I am now looking for. Big houses, not mansions like my house at home is, but three to four story houses, line the street. The houses keep getting bigger and bigger as I ascend down the road until I stop at the biggest house on the street, 3526 Pane road.
I park my aunt's Land Rover that she has lent me for the summer by one of the nearby houses and decide to head into the big house.
