Chapter 12: New Activities

Elsa's POV

It's Monday. School again. Anna and I just got here. She slept in this morning, that's not unusual though. I parked my car as Jack, Flynn and Kristoff getting out of their's. "Morning guys!" Anna and I said in sync while they replied the very same way. "Morning guys!" I heard Punzie's chirpy voice yelling behind us. "Morning blonde!" Flynn said to her. "Dude! You don't say the 'e' in blonde." Kristoff said him making Anna giggle. "It's just my nickname for her. After all it suits her. Right?" Flynn asked. "Well I'll have to agree with that!" Jack and I said. Well this is freaky. "What's with all the syncs today?" Anna asked. "Freaky!" Kristoff said in a freaked-out voice. "Forget about the Freaky Friday!" Punzie started, "We're have a Freaky Monday!" This time Flynn and Pumzie said that at the same time. We couldn't help but laugh.

I noticed Merida's car. She doesn't really drive. Guess she was lazy today. "Let's go find Mer and Hicc." I said. "Yeah can't wait to find out who his date went!" Jack bounced in. "I bet they're at the tree. Let's go!" Punzie said.

We walked to the back and I saw Merida and Hiccup laying on the grass facing the sky with their eyes shut.  "Awe!" Anna said. "They look so peaceful." Kristoff continued. "Especially redhead." Jack and Flynn synced this time. I just laughed as I saw Merida raise up and attacked Flynn and Jack. She ran straight into them knocking both down at once. "You guys are lucky she left her bow and arrows in her locker." I laughed at the two idiots who were curled up in pain. Just as Hiccup got up and finally decided to pull her off the bell rang. "Save by the bell. Lucky!" Merida spat at them. "Never call me that!" We helped the guys up and walked to our lockers.

The speakers in the hallway boomed as we heard Aunt Rachael's voice, "All student are asked to assemble in the auditorium right away. Thank you!" Everyone started to push through the corridors to the auditorium. We were getting pushed and shoved all the time. Luckily I remember a short cut. I signaled the group to come outside and we went around the back to a hidden door, if you looked closely you can only see a knob, but that was well covered in vines. "Aunt Rachael said I was an emergency exit, so she gave me a key." Jack started to laugh saying, "well in this case we have and emergency entry." I just shook head and roll my eyes. Worst joke ever. That earned him a hit behind the head from Mer and blank faces from the others.
I inserted the key and wiggled to knob and it opened. We went inside and I looked it back. After the others head forward I used my ice powers to freeze the vines back over the knob then melted the ice. It should look like before. I walked to the front realizing I was backstage, the other have already taken second row seat. No one likes the front row. There was a seat between Jack and Merida. He and Flynn had already pissed her off for the day. Hiccup was between her and Flynn and I sat between her and Jack. "This way we won't need a ambulance." I mumbled. Mer smiled hearing that, "Don't count on in lassie" she smirked. "I heard that you know" Jack said. Oh boy! They're gonna start again. Luckily, as if right on cue, the other students burst through the auditorium door scrambling for seats, as if they weren't enough. I sighed as I girl in all black with black hair sat next to Jack asking, "How did you guys get here so soon?" "We have our ways..." I replied smiling. She just laughed. Well finally! At least there are some proper student besides us in school!

After everyone settled down Aunt Rachael took the podium. "Being the second week of school I sure you all have settled in and ready for the term?" There were a few nods. She continued, "I have called you all here today to announce the events and activities of this term." And she started listing a bunch at the end she concluded with, "I'm certain that by the end of today you all would have chosen your extra curricular activities. Remember each student must pick two! Classes for today are cancelled and sign ups begin after lunch. Have a good day." She left the podium and the bell rang. I looked at my watch then at Jack, "Lunch already?"
"Yeah! Time flies when you're bored." He laughed. "Hey! She was boring...though I did even listen half of that" I mumbled the last part. "I heard that." He smirked, I just gave a little chuckle.
