Restoration

See my face... it speaks of need

Denied and unmet, cut up indeed.

See the rest... look beyond my frown

Deeply creased, so deep and down.

Hear my wail... hear it now

Tell others to share, do it somehow.

Feel my loss... grieve together

Restore my name, then feel better.

Trends that allow us to please each other

Are paths frought with minefields

Where you step can heal or it can devastate

So give a little space, at times do yield.

But don't give in too much, keep some for yourself

For if you give away the farm then the animals will die

Spend some time alone, learning what makes you tick

Then figure out your truth, if necessary, say goodbye.

Restore... and restore some more

Restore... your good name...

Restore... you need to strive for more

Restore... don't live in shame.

It has been too many days we have not seen the sun

Why did we allow ourselves to suffer?

Under the carpet of darkness and down in the caves

From the cold biting hand of the SkyGod, we have escaped.

Great plans are born when great loss does arise

From one moment to the next, anyone can be surprised

But when you and I are alone and together on this earth

Wherever we may stand, there can be an awesome rebirth.

Restore... and restore some more

Restore... so that I can see your face

Restore... please help me back to my dome

Restore... so I don't have to live alone.

Restore my name and let's live on this earth like it's our home.
