Chapter 2

*1 Week Time Skip*

Laurance's POV

I was out of my room more once I knew I was going to see Aphmau for sure again, I just hope she doesn't ignore me in real life. I decided that if I'm moving I may aswell get new stuff and leave the old stuff here for Cadenza to use with Zoey and whoever else their new roommate might be. I spend the next few days before I moved out and about buying new furniture and everything, I even bought a huge T.V. The most ecstatic feeling ever is going to be seeing my love again. Cadenza is very supportive of this and is happy to get another girl roommate. Aphmau had handed house 'ownership' I guess you could say to her so she feels a strong sense of responsibility. Garroth and I meet up and discuss who gets what room, we come to an agreement that I get my own room with my own bathroom and he gets a room and the bathroom in the hall because I was the one who found the place. He is upset it isn't a house but it is a really nice apartment so he's okay with it. I buy a lot of other things in hopes that it will look nice in the apartment for I've only seen it in pictures.

Before I know it the moving truck is here and we're all putting everything in it. I say my farewell to Cadenza and she seems more happy than sad. The movers drive the truck and I drive my car as does Garroth. I never thought you could move somewhere within a week, wow! We eventually get to the place with the movers behind us, I have asked Cadenza to keep Dakota and watch her. She agreed. I still miss her dearly... Dakota.. I don't miss Cadenza anywhere close to that much. We get there and I think I see Aphmau looking through a window, she then closes the blinds and walks away. I don't think she recognizes my car, or she just ignored it. Whatever. Garroth and I park in the spots they gave us to park in. We walk to the front and wave the moving truck in so it doesn't hit anything. We do so successfully, it is now time to carry everything in.

The first thing we carry in is the beds, it was pretty hard fitting them through the doorways but we managed. It was nearly impossible to carry them up the flights of stairs to our floor though. We did the same with the nightstands, table, and chairs. The table is a very nice one might I say. A while passes and almost everything is up, the movers have to go so just Garroth and I are left to carry up the rest of everything. I sigh and we both grab some small things. We'll carry the couch last because it's less likely to be stolen. Before I knew it we were bringing in the T.V. stand and then the T.V. it was a huge T.V. and Garroth almost broke it. We carry up one couch and then have the last couch and we're done. It was awkward carrying through the door. I dropped it on my foot a few times but thank Irene I was wearing iron toe shoes. We managed to get it to the top floor and started walking it awkwardly through our door, I was walking backwards and Garroth forwards. He continually hit me in the stomach with it, that has to be one of the most annoying things of all time. We are about to get it through the door and I look up, I see Aphmau's door and a smile spread across my face. I wanted to cry knowing I can see her again.

Aphmau's POV

I still haven't figured out what that text from Laurance means, hmm. I haven't been talking to Cadenza because she hasn't been calling me. I've been spending more time with Travis though, we're still friends even though I feel like we should be more. He's really cool but is always doing something and barely gets chances to hang out anymore. I have no work today so I'm sitting at my small table eating cereal lost in my thoughts. Why are there so many cute boys... Even the rude Zane guy I work for is cute. I sigh and hear loud noises from outside, I walk over and look out the door. I see 2 cars approaching and a moving truck. I shrug it off although one of those cars look like Laurance's. It must be me, I sit on my couch and watch some anime. As I'm watching it the people from outside are super loud, they must be moving in across from me. There's a small lobby separating my exact apartment from right across to that one. I hear movers people and I swear I heard Garroth and Laurance's voices. Why do I hear these things, I already know they're not going to be there.

I sit back and try to ignore and forget everything about them, I miss them. I continue to ignore and then I hear them again, "Thank Irene I own these shoes." I heard Laurance say with his usual chuckle at the end. My irene I must be going crazy with how much I miss him if I can hear him when he's definitely not there! I need closure so I get up as I hear their voices out my door. I walk to my door and can't see through the peephole because I'm short, I get a stool and look through the peephole. I see Garroth and Laurance carrying a couch through the door, my eyes start to water... how?

This is the double upload chapter that took me 30 min to write... I feel like it's really short so.. I is sorry.. I felt like that was a perfect ending and I just wanted it to stay that way. By the way about Laurance's shoes... it's based on me when I moved... I dropped a dresser  on my toe.. Lucky for me.. I had iron toe shoes ;3 Did you see the table joke?
