Chapter 6

Aphmau's POV

After the sunset we walked back to the car, got in and drove  back to our building. We got back there and said out goodbyes. I walked into my apartment and locked the door. I had a happy sigh and placed my purse down, I headed into the bathroom. I washed my face and looked in the mirror, I smiled at the mirror and walked away. It was fairly late now and frankly, I didn't feel like eating. Since I wasn't going to eat I watched some anime in the living room, some parts of it were super funny. Before I knew it the time was 9:00, I stretched my arms and paused the anime I was watching. I walked into my bedroom and sat on my bed, I couldn't think of anything to do so I opened my drawer on my bedside table and pulled out the book Midnight. I continued reading it from where I was, I haven't read it in awhile so it was sort of confusing. Over time, I remembered the rest of it and things started making sense. I read and read, I finished the book. I closed it and smiled, I yawned and looked at the time. 11:11, the irony! It's said that at 11:11 you make a wish, I did just that. I wished for... wait... I can't say nor think. It won't come true if I do. 

I woke up the next day feeling tired, my alarm went off right after I woke up. This happens sometimes, I always find it funny. "Ughh." I grunt and stand up, I take a shower and get ready for the day. Once I'm ready, I walk out of my room and into the kitchen. I open the fridge and see nothing appealing to eat. I sigh and close the fridge, I'm starving! I guess this is the price I pay for not eating dinner. I look through the cupboards and see nothing, I eventually give up. Then I get a call, it's from Laurance:

Laurance: Hey Aphmau.

Aphmau: Hi.

Laurance: Are you okay? You're usually more happy.

Aphmau: I'm just hungry. 

Laurance: Also, want to go out to dinner with me later today?

Aphmau: Eh... why not.

Laurance: Awesome! I'll pick you up at 6:00.

Aphmau: Alrighty!

Laurance: Bye, my love.

Aphmau: Erm.. bye.

Laurance's POV

Yes! I'm pretty sure this is our second date, hopefully there'll be more to come. Now, I must think of a place to take her. I know the perfect place! Aphmau loves sushi so I'll take her to an Asian Cuisine! I go onto my laptop and search for one in my area, I find it and book a reservation for tonight at 6:10. They have it open, everything is going together perfectly! While I'm doing this Garroth is just reading over my shoulder. "Asian Cuisine, eh?" he says, taking a bite of an apple. "Yep! It's the perfect place."I tell him, smiling proudly. "I guess so." He replies and walks away, still eating his apple. I turn around awkwardly and mumble, "Okay.." I then started preparing myself for my job, it does start tomorrow so I better get practising! I would go ask Travis for some input but I think he is technically my rival now. Great, the only actual cook decides to be my rival. It's a great thing cooking is one of my strong suits though, if it wasn't I probably wouldn't have this job. 

After searching on the internet about being a cook, I realized I need an outfit for mine and Aphmau's date. I quickly put my shoes on and grabbed my wallet, I ran out the door and to my car. Mall, here I come! I got to the mall and parked my car, I walked inside and looked for the right store. I want something fancy but not too fancy. I find the perfect outfit in one of the stores, $130... for Aphmau. I buy it and head back home, my Irene... I wasn't expecting to spend so much money on something. But, it's for a date with Aphmau... Aphmau is worth it. Once I'm home I am freaking out a little, I'm so excited! Never heard a guy almost fangirl?.. Well you just did. 

Aphmau's POV

I ate some food and just lazed around, then I realized that I have to go shopping for an outfit. I go to the mall in the next town over because they have my favourite store. Once I get there I park my car and head in, I don't know my way around so I check the map to find out it's on the second floor of the building. I head up the escalator and find myself in front of this store. I walk inside to see a wide variety of dresses, there's one that's completely black, no sleeves, and fairly short with frills. It looks too plain so I keep looking. I see a beautiful green dress that is very slick, it shows a lot of chest so I don't buy it. Then I see the perfect dress, It is a short sleeve red dress with a cute belt, it goes down to my knees. I look at the price tag, $100. I guess for a dress this nice it makes sense, I buy the dress and am about to leave the mall. Then I see a nail and hair salon side by side, it would be nice to get my hair and nails done for the date, wouldn't it. I go into the nail salon and wait awhile, while I'm waiting I look through the magazines. I see one picture of nails and I think I want to get that done, it's black nail polish that fades into red with small black designs throughout it. It looks so pretty and it matches my dress. Once I'm done waiting I tell the lady what I want, she nods and takes me to the section. They start putting the fake nails on and painting them, it's so cool watching them make such beautiful art on my literal fingertips. Wow!

Once they've finished doing my nails I look at them, they're so pretty! I thank the lady and pay her $190 for the designs. This was more than the dress but they are so perfect! I take a bunch of pictures because I know the nails won't last forever. Then I head to the hair salon, like before I wait in the waiting area reading magazines. I am looking for a hairstyle that will look nice with my nails and dress. Then I see a side fishtail braid that connects from both sides into a bun. It looks so pretty and cool. I know exactly what I'm going to ask for now. I hope it doesn't cost me a fortune, then it's finally my turn. I head to the front counter and show the lady the picture of the hair I wanted. "You're actually the first to have this done, don't worry we will manage." I did worry slightly, if it's their first time doing this, they may have a hard time. I agreed and they took me to a chair, I sat down and they began to work on my hair. I hope it all goes well.

They finished my hair at 5:30. I saw it in the mirror and it was perfect! I paid them $250. I walked carefully back to my car, hoping not to ruin my hair and nails. I got in my car and drove home, thank goodness my dress is a step in. Once I get home I run into my apartment, hoping Laurance doesn't see my hair. I check it in the mirror, still perfect. I look at my nails, still perfect. I pull out my dress, still perfect. I change into my dress and do my makeup in a way that will suite the style I'm going for. Once I'm completely ready, it's exactly 6:00. I smile at myself in the mirror, It's perfect. Then I hear a knock on the door, I place on my shoes and grab my purse. I open the door and Laurance's jaw drops.            "A-Aphmau... you're so beautiful."

How was that!? Good things come out of writer's block, eh!? It's 11:29 while I'm typing this, I must edit fast and get this out to you all before it's midnight my time. Well, it was fairly long and I personally had fun once the writer's block decided it had enough fun messing with Laurmau. The double update today was cool, I enjoy that Zane book so much. And today's MyStreet episode killed me. But, I will see you all whenever! Byee! ~Taylor
