Chapter 11

Aphmau's POV

I've had Celestia for about a week now. She still pees all over the apartment, but I can't stay mad at her. She gives me her little puppy eyes and I just fall in love with her all over again! Ah! That reminds me, it's time for her walk.

I walk out the front door and down the stairs to the front door of the building. Celestia is jumping at the door while I try to get my keys back into my sweater pocket.

"Calm down, girl," I say to her, in a high pitched voice.

She looks at me with her little puppy smile and jumps up at me. I opened the door and she tugged the leash.

I walked her around the property for a few minutes.

Laurance's POV

I wake up randomly and everything is quiet. I turn my head to the alarm clock and it was 7:20 am on a Saturday.

I groan and sit up, questioning why I'm even awake.

My head turns towards the window. I hear something outside.

I stand up and stretch. The noise is still there so I get too curious and end up looking outside.

It was Celestia barking and Aphmau's giggles. They were both running through the field. This put a smile on my face.

I think I have a good reason to take the garbage out.

I pull the trash bag out of the garbage can, then tie it. I quickly put another bag in, then grabbed some shoes.

While I was walking down the stairs, I saw Aphmau and Celestia from the low-level window. I smiled again, then continued walking.

I left the building and the door closed loud behind me. Celestia heard and stopped dead in her tracks then stared at me.

She pulled Aphmau over.

"Hey!" She said. Celestia was jumping on my leg.

I looked down and pet Celestia's head.

"You're never awake this early."

"I know. Weird, isn't it." I replied, scratching the back of my neck.

"Yeah, I guess so..." She picked up Celestia.

"Careful," I said, pointing to a broken glass bottle by her foot.

She kicked it out of the way, then said, "I probably would've slipped on it. Thanks." She smiled.

"Anyways, I'll leave you to do that," she said, pointing to the trash bag.

"Oh, yeah," I looked at the bag.

"Bye," she said.

I was about to speak but she put the dog on the floor and then hugged me. I hugged her back, with my free arm.

She walked off, I waved.

I'm surprised she hugged me. That conversation was pretty awkward.

At least she likes me. That's better than nothing.

Aphmau's POV

My talk with Laurance was kind of awkward, but I think I saved it with that hug we shared.

My head was hurting a little so when I was inside, I walked straight to my room and laid in my bed.

I tried getting some rest, but I could only sleep on and off for 3 hours. I kept waking up with a more painful headache than the previous. I eventually gave up and took some medication to get rid of it.

I woke up feeling a lot better. Even though it is now 12:00, I think I can do what I wanted to do today.

I walked out of my bedroom to find that Celestia had used her pee-pads. I praised her and gave her a treat before throwing away the dirty ones and replacing it with new ones.

I walked to the washer and dryer for my floor and put my dress into the wash. I had to put it in alone because the dye might leak.

I have plans for today that I'm excited for.
