Chapter 4

Laurance's POV

I wake up because I hear knocking at the door, I stand up carefully because Aphmau is sleeping. I smile at her and walk to her front door, I open it to see Travis standing there with his arms crossed. "Laurance! Where's Aphmau!?" he asked pushing me aside. Travis ran to her bedroom and saw her laying there sleeping. He smiled but it soon turned into an angered looking expression, his fists balled up. "Why are you here when she's sleeping?" he asked gritting his teeth. "I slept over here, is that a problem?" I asked leaning against the door frame. "Hell yea it is!" Travis said walking closer to me. "It's not like you own her or anything." I said crossing my arms, I was taller than Travis. "I don't own her, but I don't appreciate you sleeping with my girlfriend." he said in a stern voice. "Girlfriend?" I said confused, is this true? "Yea!" Travis shouted at me back. Has this been going on the entire time? I uncrossed my arms and stopped leaning on the door frame. "Sorry, It wasn't my choice to sleep here." I said as I picked up my belongings. "Wh-what?!" "Heh, she asked me to." I shrugged and moped back into my apartment, I flopped down on my bed and wept myself back to sleep. Why this, why me?! Why now?

After several hours of shedding tears silently in my bed I got a knock on my door. "Who is it?" I mumbled trying to keep a steady voice. "It's Garroth, Aphmau is here to see you." Garroth shouted through the door. "Don't let her in." I mumbled back and tried to fall asleep. I heard steps away from the door, then my door opened. I didn't look who was there and just stayed with my face in my pillow. "Laurance, I know you can hear me. I'm s-sorry. Also.. Travis isn't my boyfriend. Just.. overprotective." she stated and then left. I raised my head from my pillow and wiped away these tears, why would Travis lie to make me feel this way. I don't want him near her anymore, he's bad news... I can tell. Sighing with relief I stand up and get ready. Why must this Travis guy get in the way of everything. Then a plan popped into my mind, all I have to do is make Aphmau mine before Travis gets a chance to. Once I'm ready I walk out of my bedroom to see Garroth had made breakfast. "Hey Garroth." I said taking a seat across from him. "Hey Laurance, glad to see Aphmau put you in a better mood." he said taking a bite of his food. "Yea, she always makes me feel much better." I say with a smile spreading across my face. I love her, she always makes me smile. Even in my darkest of moments. 

After breakfast I decide to Skype Cadenza to see how Dakota is doing.  "Hey Cadenza." I say smiling at her. "Hi Laurance." she replies. "Can I see my baby?" I ask. "Heh, of course." she hold Dakota up to the screen. "Hi baby Dakota." I say to the dog. She looks around confused and starts whining, she misses me. "Laurance I have to work at the cafe now so I'll talk to you later." Cadenza says. "Okay Cadenza, talk to you later." she hung up and I felt bad about Thorgi now, how could he die!? I don't want to think about it but I honestly understand why Aphmau keeps his ashes on her fireplace. If I had a beloved pet I loved as much as she loved Throgi, I'd probably do the same. I stop thinking these thoughts and grab some things to head out. I walk out my door and lock it behind me, I head straight to Aphmau's door and knock. She opens the door and smiles at me. "Glad to see you're feeling better." she says. "Yea, you always make me feel better." I reply smiling. She blushes slightly and asks, "So, what do you wanna do?"  "How about we visit your work." she looked surprised that I had said that but she agreed. "I don't have work today but I'll call them and let them know that a friend wanted to see the place." she said smiling at me. "Alrightly." I took a seat on her couch as she called her work. This is going to be a lot of fun, I hope. 

Aphmau's POV

I think it's odd that Laurance wants to see my work of all things, It's sweet though. I call my work and they say it's fine, as long as we don't cause a disruption or mischief. I tell Laurance that it's okay, I also tell him the rules. I put on my maid clothes and we head out the door, it's always embarrassing in this outfit outside. We get into my car and drive the short distance it is to get there. Laurance seemed surprised at my outfit but I guess it's normal. Not everyday you see me in this, well for Laurance that is. If it were Travis he probably wouldn't care, I'm upset with Travis so I don't want to think about him at all right now. Once we get to my work I park my car in the little area it says to. Laurance looks surprised at the mansion size and we start walking up to the front doors.  "I never knew you would work in such a mansion." he said mesmerized. I giggled and said, "Well, you probably never thought I'd be a maid for this place either." we continued to walk to the front gates. I knocked and a fellow maid answered. She recognized me and let us in, Laurance looked around at all the expensive decor. I talked with the maid and then went up to Laurance. "Come on, I'll give you the tour." I said and we walked off to start this tour. I love hanging out with Laurance, he's always so fun to be around.

Aww, an adorable end once again. I hope you all liked it, it took literally like 40 min to write which was shocking. Thank you to Maddie_2323_ for the funny Travis being jealous idea, it was great ^_^ But as you all know, I will see you whenever! Byee *I have no school today! Hells yea!* ~Taylor
