Chapter 5

Aphmau's POV

I'm giving Laurance a tour, the first stop of our tour is to the living room of the house. I grab is hand and drag him into the living room. He looks around it shocked at the size, there is no one in the living room at the moment. "This place is amazing!" he says shocked. "I like it here too, it's huge and magnificent." I replied smiling. "Yea, where to now?" he asked. "Let's go to the dining room." "Okay, race you!" "Laurance! Don't run in the house." I chased him around for a little while until he ran into the grand dining room. "It's huge." he said, touching the table cloth. "Well what were you expecting, you saw the outside." I said with a small giggle. "Yea.. but I wasn't expecting this.." he trailed off, continuing to look at all the expensive things surrounding him. "Laurance.. C'mon, I'll show you the kitchen." I grabbed the sleeve of his shirt and pulled him into the kitchen of this magnificent house. "Here we are." I said, stopping as we entered the kitchen. The cook maids or chefs were right at work, they were preparing lunch for the family. Laurance looked around the kitchen doing his best not to disturb any of the workers. He started helping them cook which I found sweet, then a maid came up to me and asked me to go get Zane for the food. I didn't want to be rude, even if I wasn't working so I went to Zane's room to get him.

I knocked, there was no answer. I knocked again, still no answer. "Zane, if you don't answer I'll barge in on you." I said in as nice a voice as possible. The guy was my age but he seems like a child at times. "1...2...3.. I'm opening the door." I did just that and sure enough he was sleeping, at least I think he was sleeping. I smiled and walked over to him, I shook him lightly and he didn't move. "Zane, you need to get up." I said to him loudly. Still nothing, I shook him more. Still nothing. I shook him a third time and he pushed me to the floor, jumping ontop of me. "Get u--eek." He stared at me, still holding me down. He forcefully pressed his lips against mine, hitting my head on the floor. It hurt. I saw out of the corner of my eye, Laurance walk in the room. "Aphm--" he walked away, he didn't even help me?! He stopped kissing me and I tried to push him off. "Get off." I said in a stern voice. "I get what I want." He replied, what is wrong with this person!? I managed to push him off, "You have food waiting for you." I said, wiping off my mouth. He smirked and I walked away, I need to find Laurance now! I ran through hallways and corridors looking for him. I came to a huge window and saw him standing at a bus stop nearby. 

I ran to this bus stop like my life depended on it. I got there just before the bus arrived, "Laurance!" I yelled. He looked at me and turned away. "What?" he asked in an annoyed tone. "I-it's not what you think!" I said, trying to catch my breath. "Then what is it?" he said, still in the annoyed tone. "H-he.. I um.." He sighed. "I went there to get him for food and he jumped on me." I managed to get out. Laurance looked extremely relieved. "Good, Garroth's brother isn't exactly the 'nice' kind of person you'd want to date." We walked away from the bus stop. "What do you mean? Garroth's brother? What?" I asked. "That Zane guy, is Garroth's younger brother. He is extremely rude and pretty evil." He said, we continued walking back to the building. "I knew about the rude and evil, but Garroth is the brother that's gone. I didn't know that." I giggled slightly. Laurance and I walked back into the building, we're now having small talk. Every time Zane walks passed me he smirks, it is seriously annoying. 

After some time I finished giving Laurance the tour of the place, we were about to leave but someone came up to us. "Laurance is it?" the man said. "Yea, it is." Laurance replied, I stood there awkwardly. "We would like to offer you a position as one of the cooks here." the man said. "I'd love to." Laurance said, trying not to get excited. "Well that's wonderful, you'll start when miss Aphmau has her next shift. Since you two know each other, you'll have the same schedule." The man said, handing Laurance some papers. "T-thank you sir." Laurance replied. We walked out and got into my car, while I was driving we were talking. "This is cool." Laurance said, reviewing the papers he was given. "Well, there's a reason I have this job." I said, snickering. "Anyways, want to stop at the park before we head home?" he asked. "Sure." I continued driving but took a detour to a natural park. We walked around the park, it was empty. The sun was starting to set. "Hey, Aphmau." Laurance said as we were walking around. "Hmm? Yes Laurance?" I asked, in tune with the nature. "You know I love you, right?" "Well, you tell me a lot." I said, blushing a little. "Well, I don't tell you enough. Aphmau, I love you." I smiled. We didn't talk, we kept walking in the park. Then Laurance did something that shocked me, he put his hand on my hand and intertwined his fingers with mine, we walked through the park hand in hand as the sun set behind us.
