New Hair Color

Short Rhys X Reader

I saw the new Star Wars movie and my emotions almost took over me.  There was the ONE PART where my heart was ripped out of my chest Q~Q  But I definitely pay to see it again :D

I have another one shot being worked on, but you guys have waited a while so I made this in just a few minutes tops.  Hope you like it.

You couldn't help but grin the whole way home.  You had just come from the salon and you hadn't told Rhys about your appointment, you wanted to surprise him, and the result would surely do it.  

You pulled your coat tighter around your body as you wiped your nose from the cold, it was snowing a bit but not enough to worry you about the sidewalks.  The salon wasn't really that far away from your house so you walked there, and this was before the snow began to fall.  People stared at you as you passed; some would whisper about your odd hair color, some would smile and compliment it as you walked by, you definitely stood out among the streets.  Hopefully your boyfriend liked it as well.

You finally made it to your home and opened the front door, snow tracking onto the floor from your boots.  You closed the door behind you and brushed yourself off and hollered for Rhys.

"I need help with something!"  You lie, hoping he'd get into the kitchen quickly.

You hurriedly took off your coat and hung it up and ran your fingers through your hair to fix it up before Rhys saw it, and in no time you saw him walk through the hallway, his face glued to his phone.

"What did you need help with--"

At that moment he looked up and saw a surprise waiting for him.  The most beautiful turquoise hair layered with a dark blue color, all curled and layered over your shirt.  Rhys was at a loss for words, his mouth agape and eyes looking directly at your head.  You had the impression he didn't really like it, looking at his expression.

"What do you think?"  You ask him, spreading out your arms at your side, giving him a full view.  He casually walked up to you and took a piece of your hair with his fingers.  It was soft, and he could smell the shampoo and conditioner from where he was.  Rhys was really liking this new look of yours, or at least your hair style.

"(Y/n), this is amazing!  You look beautiful!"

"You like it?"  You ask as a sweet smile spreads across your face.  Rhy's hands then started combing through your hair, no tangles or anything, so soft.

"Of course!  It really brings out your eyes."

You giggle and give him a quick kiss on the lips before you fling your arms around his neck.  

"Maybe we should dye your hair."  You tease.  You felt Rhys tighten his grip on your waist as he chuckled softly.

"That might work on you but might not on me.  Besides, I think you'd look ten times better than I would."

You kissed him again.  "Nonsense.  You're the handsomest man I know."

Rhys shrugged as his grin on his face widened.  "I know."

He once again ran his fingers over your hair before his hands cupped your face and brought your closer to him, his lips planting firmly on yours.

"And you (y/n), are the most beautiful woman in the galaxy."
